Just out of curiousity I wonder who found block 500.000? Anyone? It wasn't me.... This block is interesting. It may have been mined at a pool. With 8.4% fee. Or, solo mined by someone who uses an miner contributing 8.4% of their hash rate to someone else (a "dev"?). Wonder if that miner is aware.. srcxxx pool if I remember correctly had hidden fees ...

Testing "multipool". LOL I have been doing the same with wafflepool and buying DMD. I would assume daily payouts since that's what WP does. Also be aware WP has a minimum daily payout threshold of 0.005 BTC and weekly of 0.0005 BTC (on sunday) for slower miners.

Yes, a strange policy indeed. I tested the grsminer on some older cards a while ago and got lower results than with the sphminer. It felt like I was "giving away" 7-8% of my hashrate, hmm. So.... Curiosity finally leads to Enlightenment (??)

On second thought I think I'll stick to Solo mining My reason: By having multipool mining via BTC pools, difficulty should actually go down for actual groestl miners And indeed this is true (OZ has been revealed from behind the curtains) L)

Mining Solo groestl I see coins every day and no transactions fees (2 times via WP multipool and another to convert to DMD ... messy LOL). Good luck with multipool It's advantageous for me with lowered real groestl mining difficulty

It's a great thing to have a multipool. Mining in groestl is still quite productive while now you can use your scrypt asics or bitcoin asics for mining diamond. I see that as the main advantage. I don't know why you would use x11 or x13 on the MP when you can just groestl yourself, but I guess it can have it merits.
It should definitely boost our economy as a whole and enter new people into the market.
Absolutely great addition

I would imagine NiceHash or Wafflepool being multipools with settings to mine the most profitable coins at the time and jumping from one algorithm to the other. Yep, great addition, will certainly come handy for those who invested in ASICs or have nice GPU farm and are addicted to Multipools. Diamond reaches new audience this way.

What is the correct way of building the static headless client?
I've tried:
make STATIC=1 -f ....
with or without -static-libgcc and -static-libstdc++
but it doesn't statically link libc and libgcc,
with STATIC=all
it fails on linking libgcc_s
but before I go on linking manually or whatever, maybe it's easier than that...
EDIT: got it! this is the working commandline:
LDFLAGS='-static-libgcc' STATIC='all' make -f ....

Instead of providing the documents on headless client compilation as promised, I will save the hassle to the interested people by sharing statically compiled binaries. I have successfully built the wallet using gnuroot and the Debian weezy image on a nexus 5 phone. It should work on most android devices and I have tested it with success on the qnap nas. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any performance advantage even though the compiler used is much newer than the qnap native one (gcc 4.6 vs 4.2). Here is the link to the public folder containing the wallet: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/si94t02tb8fjcq6/AAANVDqdx8FpnAeQRcNX5wOdaIf there is interest, I can write a doc on how to run on android, even though it'll never be simple, unless there is a GUI to use it with. I have come to notice that Nicehash multipool sees my hashrate more accurately than WafflePool multipool even though I was mining on Wafflepool SEA's (South East Asia) stratum. In fact Wafflepool seems to see only ~8Mh out of my ~14Mh while Nicehash sees around ~12/13 Mh.
I am mining x11 with 6 x GTX 750 Ti.
I am happy I didn't mine too long with Wafflepool.

I come across this "need" when building FreeBSD binaries, because I usually run wallets in virtual machines with very barebones OS install. For me, all that was necessary was to add STATIC=1 to the Makefile.

i guess it will be switch between them from time to time some times one might be under ddos attack sometime some might have a significant higher payout for a algo sometime one just perform better its good if we share feedback here about what algo on what pool is best at the moment
