All the remote nodes I've tried have been updated to 10.1 Meantime, ARMv7 is still only available in 10.0 Now I can't use my wallet. I don't want this discussion to get derailed by suggestions that I should just fix monerod and use the blockchain. I've spent too much time on it already. Monerod doesn't sync. I have to use a remote node. What available remote node still uses 10.0 for the time being?

Guys, using Wolf GPU v10 (i think that was the proper version). miner, on a R9 290 Sapphire Tri-X (non-unlockable).
Drivers are 16.12.1, using per profile overclock for the miner, with 1050/1500 clocks (stock voltage) and manual fan control at 2000rpm. Speeds are 840H/s for 82*C.
Config is: no CPU use at all, 800 raw intensity, 2 threads, worksize 16.
I do not think its possible to run it any faster without touching voltages and increasing clocks (and power consumption).
According to GPU-Z, average Power In is 120-130W. With the rest of the system on idle and 85% power efficiency, this comes to maybe around 250W from the wall.
Does this looks good?

I believe 290x alone's peak power is > 300 watts. You should ask this in the xmr mining thread.

This is a mandatory upgrade that is required for the hard fork that is scheduled for January 05, 2017 and also for the GUI. Thanks. If you don't upgrade you will no longer be on the network come the hard fork @ block 1220516 around Jan 10

Ok the cat's out of the bag now. Im officially a XMR holder. https://twitter.com/EMC2Whale/status/807426020966068225 This means ima do my part to help promote monero in the coming new year, I'll help with support in the books when the time's right and I'll be a vocal supporter on this thread. Let's take this privacy focused beast and let her off her leash in 2017. See you guys then. *facepalm* What did you expect? Eventually all the crypto greats & not so greats will be in Monero if not there already. 'The story of Bobsurplus' continues....Now this announcement....hmmmmm....quo bono? Usually Bob if he announces anything. So whats the play here? Ah! the speculation thread has just become more speculative. At least for me... Happy to have spiced up your day but the story is not the same. I've been quite the last year and a bit, hatching away and building great crypto businesses all the while stacking more altcoins then I ever have before. 2017 will be no different except I may be more vocal about my projects these days as for the most part they are all doing really really well. Let's just say I turned a new leaf and iam trying to make crypto great again. Stop trying to scam people you broke piece of poop Ok righteous one who knows all. I'll stop! Dump XMR guys, this shits trash and I heard greg from amp just got hired by the xmr team. Really? On the contrary, imo greg is a genius dev, amp lost him because ceo dor is a mean guy, paid a little to a CTO. Actually XMR will gp bigger if they hire greg.

Interesting article featuring Monero: http://woobull.com/the-network-effects-of-volatility-and-liquidity-bitcoin-vs-other-payment-coins/2016 has been a bull year for privacy coins. Earlier this year we saw mooning of Monero which saw subsequent pumps in other dark-coins including ShadowCash and Navcoin. Then we witnessed a mega-hyped launch of ZCash which peaked at an astounding $5.3k per coin. For the sake of this study, I will be looking at the leading coins by market cap, namely Bitcoin, Monero, Dash, ZCash and ShadowCash.

LOL, this is funny. For Core/Unlimited/Classic haters: This statistic means almost nothing if you don't know how GIT works. (merged commits are counted)

XMR = 1730 commits DASH = 35 commits LTC = 16 commits DOGE = 0 commits The next time someone calls Monero a shitcoin, send them that. Monero is not just an ordinary altcoin.

The Monero has very active developers. That is the reason the price is quite high at the present. It is several times higher than last year.

It means how many times someone has contributed to the code. So basically from that list you would say for instance ltc has been updated 16 times. Dogecoin has been edited or updated 0 times. So basically Monero has a very active base of programmers.

Like others have said so its a silly metric because, for instance, one of those commits was me editing the status message from "Sync data returned unknown top block" to "Your node is fine, have a beer, its all OK" or something along those lines, because newcomers were seeing this error message and freaking out.

Ever since the 0.10.1 update, auto-refresh does not proceed all the way through after logging into my wallet (watch-only). In fact, I'd have to do several more manual refresh in order to finally get caught up as it only goes in spurts each time. Annoying.
Anybody else experiencing this irregularity?
