Remember before Dash mooned 500 masternodes disappeared?
no. pretty new in this... I've been a Bitcoin hodler for two years now, and only in january heard about monero through the coinbase thing in January. Have been strong on Monero since though. Still, I find it surprising more people aren't seeing the benefits of the coin. It is not ready for mass adoption yet. We understand that this is a currency not a speculation tool and therefore know that when rolled out to the masses the system needs to be polished enough for the average user. that is just good business. Staying above the P&D scam coins is essential for the coins credibility when it finally can be rolled out. There are no credible accusations against XMR, the closest thing to that is fluffy's poor choice of a troll which doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the end. Compare that to the other top 10 coins and you will see why this is important for the future adoption as a actual functional currency. Most alts are nothing more than speculation bubbles, XMR is different and the price does reflect that, just look at the increase when the DM's adopted XMR and the fact since AB disappeared the value has been tapering off. As soon as the adoption rate increases again for use cases and not bag holding them we will see a nice steady increase again. I'm not sure about seeing another spike though. Did that answer your question?

Nobody can know how many XMR I own. So naturally part of my portfolio is Monero. They are also usable in the real world. Monero has become a real thing.

So Plan B has been implementing Multisig to get on Hansa? Multisig is being implemented because it is widely useful.

So Plan B has been implementing Multisig to get on Hansa? I think getting on Hansa would be a bad thing right now. Implementing multi-sig will allow many things including usability on a decentralized platform. that is what I believe is the primary use case for such. An Unknown amount of Monero, Is it True? <<-- Hey Icetroll drop this in your favorite stomping grounds and ask why none of their coins were in use.

Don't know what to think about Monero. It should be widely used because is untraceable but people think about Monero as a black market coin I think. Today sets on trendline let's hope it will bounce back together with hall market.

as you can see the 2 different sources have 2 different numbers for "unknown", so which is correct? The answer is that they both are as far as what they have queried. They both have searched pools they know and what is left over is therefore "unknown". Unknown is comprised of pools they have not queried whether they are public or private as well as solo miners. There is no way of knowing what % are solo miners but it obviously has to be less than the lowest unknown % of 19

It is possible, but solo miners is a bit misleading since "unknown" can include pools that are not public.

Why the price is not real? Like in poloniex and coincapmarket price for XMR is different and at xmr.to is lowest 2 euros.

I can’t receive moneros I’ve sent to my XMR address on Eobot, hash of transfer: 7172f32f16423bfac5b01eb99158f76b65e35aea1de3b79682f1c505071c8c12 Eobot wrote on my request: «XMR is required to have a "Payment ID" attached when sending coins, otherwise it wont arrive. It's an anonymous coin and we can't track who sent the coins without the payment ID, and some exchanges/websites might not support it, so you need to contact them and ask them to support it». The problem is, I didn't use payment ID. But probably it’s possible to do something with it… Then I asked some person from Monero team from their official site — and there was an answer: «The funds were cleared by the Monero network a while back (block 1356806) https://moneroblocks.info/search/7172f32f16423bfac5b01eb99158f76b65e35aea1de3b79682f1c505071c8c12so you need to contact the recipient of the funds. If the funds were sent to Eobot or some other Exchange, Wallet Provider, etc., you need to contact their support. One must keep in mind that most Exchanges and Wallet providers will use a common XMR address and assign one or more payment IDs to each account in order to properly credit each account. As a consequence of this, if the payment ID they gave you is not used, it may not be straightforward for them to credit your account with the funds, even though they have the funds somewhere in their system. If the funds were sent to a wallet under your control then it is a matter of setting up the wallet and synchronizing it with the network». And finally I’m asking somebody of you to help me with advise what to do now — if it is possible to solve my problem. The sum of XMR was probably not so much to mention, but it is not good for me anyway.

It is possible, but solo miners is a bit misleading since "unknown" can include pools that are not public. Interesting. I can't help but wonder how big a piece of that Pie is Monero Malware mining? https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/next-global-cyberattack-monero-mining-malware-much-bigger-wannacry/Monero price movement has been practically pegged to Bitcoin at least since last December, staying within a narrow 0.01 - 0.02 BTC for 1 XMR. The really strange thing is that at the same time the Monero hash rate has increased about 37 fold! https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/hashrate-xmr.html#1yDoes anyone here have a qualified estimate of how much Monero is being dumped by malware miners?

Eobot has the XMR you sent, but because there was no payment id on the tranasction, their system did not know who to credit the payment. You will need to contact their support (Eobot) and someone will have to manually identify the transaction.
