Lontonbit was yesterday promoting bitcoinprivate and starting threads asking why dash price flashcrashed and doing drama in dash threads. It is really funny how suddenly we got so many accounts with nothing really useful just trying to get an argue.  Oh or maybe his agenda is clear he plans to get arguments against dash here and present them there and by doing it promote his coin and do opposite  in dash thread and get arguments against Monero and present them here. We will see soon if there is some sense in all of this.
You’re a real thinker lol 😂

Monero is slow and traceable, Bitcoin Private is instant and completely untraceable. Just sayin 👍

Guys could we ban a person who generate the same words repeatedly without any proof links like a bot?

Bitcoin Private relies on initialization trust. Say good bye to anonymity. See my detailed answer here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg39707725#msg39707725

Monero is twice as fast as Litecoin and has ADAPTIVE block size unlike Bitcoin, so Monero doesn't need even a Lightning network in the nearest future. Monero's block size is re-calculated every day.

How closely is the Monero development team pursuing Bulletproofs? I reckon they are on Kovri's development, but is the research group looking at Bulletproofs closely and initial planning for it starting?

Just to say, Bulletproofs and Kovri are developed by two separate teams, so they getting progress simultaneously. According to Monero roadmap, both Bulletproofs and Kovri are scheduled this year, I suppose between fall and xmas.

I believe it is a bannable offense to continue to post in a thread that the OP has requested you not to post in. I'm not sure but I seem to remember that (with my memory though it could have been a different board). If so then smooth would have to ask them not to post. I think one troll actually got paid not to show up for a year Nrg or some such name IIRC. I hope he dumped and didn't hold because I think it was like 10xmr when it was worth about a dollar. Smiley

We tend to just put them on ignore and not quote them and then they get cored and leave or change monikers and we have to start over on the ignore. Lol

I used to go to their threads and troll them back when they really got on my nerves, it's easy to do when you have the facts and they are making unsubstantiated fud or outright lies like these bullshit private coins with rich lists! If they piss you off that much goto their threads and prove to the peops they are duping that their snake oil is just that. for some reason they don't like that and they will delete your post. And then I just reposting the deleted post with the quote of the deletion. I think I got up to over 10 deleted post quotes before they gave up in one thread.

I think BF is qued to roll out on next update (i think it was ready for the last but the devs correctly held it back for testing) and I'm not sure where korvie is.

Yeah something like that, bulletproofs for individual transactions was done but work to do on multiple or something like that. And the confidence factor of only releasing solid tested features.

As you "officially" hate Monero, despite you can't contradict my proofs

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg39707725#msg39707725

of its fundamental excellence among other coins, especially since the latest release,

https://cryptodisrupt.com/monero-gets-ledger-support/

, I suspect you've just dumped and bought few Moneros "secretly" Smiley

The great criminal adoption does prove Monero is the most anonymous coin, even more than fiat money: for example, fiat money note does have serial number, Monero coin doesn't have it: see the fungibility property and why it is important.

https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/1967/what-is-fungibility-and-why-does-it-matter

Also see my post why ABSENCE of anonymity is HUGE SOCIAL SECURITY VULNERABILITY, not anonymity.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg39238948#msg39238948

Criminals and governments are both equal predators if you leave them into free fly. Only balance in the world, where there exist both transparency and anonymity, can preserve it from self-damage.

Ok. How much smaller will Monero's blocks be after the upgrade to Bullet Proofs? Also, what is the average block size of Monero right now?

I once tried to sync the blockchain but I gave up because it became very slow near the end. I assume that was RingCT making the blocks bigger than it should have been.

From what I am hearing, the #Bitcoin and #Monero communities will be well represented at @defcon @BCOSvillage this year. Security education is fun!

About 1/10th.

average blocksize: currently 140 kb or so :https://www.moneroblocks.info/stats/block-medians

u should try again, there have been some improvements, and there will be more soon. Also, get an SSD. It can sync in 5 hours.
