Why Mintpal don't add MRO to market?

Because they don't have any technical skill and are not able to add any crypto that is not a Bitcoin clone.

If Mintpal can't, that needs fixing because the main market are merchants who can't be expected to have Mintpal-tech-support level of cryptoknowledge.

What exactly are the obstacles, from a technical perspective?

weird, are you using cpuminer-multi? I had some problems with it, getting 100% rejected shares after some time mining. I am using simpleminer now, no issues yet.
