I would personally advise you to get around 50 just to be safe. Although, there is no way i see bitcoin being anywhere over 10,000$ anytime soon at all. If they go up to 3-5k$, well happy times for you!
50 is not enough actually, you need at least 100 BTC and in 20 years you can start saving now, regular saving is very important to accumulate a good number of bitcoin by 20 years and the amount or value will appreciate and that will be good for your investment, you will enjoy then.
even 100 bitcoins wouldnt be enough in my opinion you would need like a thousand or something like that
yeah agree of course it will not be enough. let alone in the future course of the year the cost of living would be very expensive. Of course you need more bitcoin for survival
Well based on the rate of inflation you can estimate how much it is going to cost every year from there on out, assuming that nothing changes much. the main thing that can be a huge issue unforeseen events such as quantitative easing and so which seriously devalue your currency and aren't always know to the public, aside from when they're about to happen.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

at least we need probably 100 BTC. I'm sure with the number of bitcoin as much as we can invest and earn more money. 20 years is a very long time and we have to prepare everything carefully.

do you want to hold them for 20 years?
its good for you, I'm sure the price of bitcoin in 20 years later is too high
If you have a lot of bitcoin you can be rich.

monthly invest a sum of a pension fund and the same amount in btc , and may do so :
You pay $ 500 per month to the pension fund .
for btc calculate 500 * 24 months , totaling $ 12k invested in btc .
I think it's a good way to retire in 20 years .

That is just my salary in my full time job, I cannot risk all that amount because I have a family to support. I do invest but I only used part of my earnings online but I am sure it will not be that much. But I will try to reach that amount as I also want to have a good savings in the future.

Buy at least 10 btc, but make it sure you have other income when you get retired so you do not depend on that, because we do not know if the value of bitcoin now will be the same or get higher in the future or after 20 years, better to be wise, don't depend your life to that bitcoin..

What if we do not have that amount of money that we can use to buy bitcoins now, I think that would not work unless we are doing it by installment. I know majority of the people here cannot afford to directly buy that amount and others are just saving for it.

Invest 12 btc in a year,, seems good but everything can happen in 20 years since we can't know for sure about future.
If the price keep increasing just like years before, we can guess the price of bitcoin would be around $5-10k/btc. Hope it works that way, so everyone could get nice profits.

You don't need for calculating the BTC is you need for retire in 20 years but you need running funding like a business and you no need feeling doubt about that . but just waste your time for calculating how many BTC for make you can retire that is just waste your time. that is simple but a lot of people is making this cases with difficult answer.

It's very huge amount of money, cause retiring means you will not recive money anymore, and i can't understand why you want to retire when you can create you own buisness.
thats true, you would need a lot of money in order to be able to retire, if i were you i think i would aim to something like 100 bitcoins

That depends, if you have a good job then you will receive a pension if you add bitcoin on top of that, then you could have a really good amount of money in order to retire.

In my country pension is available only for Government servants and not in any private company so not all can take benefits of  it, but yes bitcoin can help them even after retirement.

Yes it will depend on which country you are living in and what is the cost of living, if you are from 3rd world country then I think even 50 btc will take best care of your retirement.

If you need bilions you are getting a high salarie, i do believe with something like 300-400k dollars would be enought soo considering the current value of bitcoin around 500 bitcoins, but as i expect the price to jump to 1000 dollars at 2020, soo around 300 bitcoins.

I'm sure you will need many bitcoins for the next 20 years, maybe you need around 200-2000 bitcoins  to retire in 20 years and you can start earning bitcoin from now.

To retire your body from work in 20 years you should telll us from which country you are because then it is more easy to say you how much money you ned to retire yourself.I need billions of dollars to retire myself.
yeah I think the state of each user also affects how much money should you get within 20 years to come. because the cost of living in that year and in each country will be different. so you have to know the cost of living in the country and you can begin to collect bitcoin

I'm sure you will need many bitcoins for the next 20 years, maybe you need around 200-2000 bitcoins  to retire in 20 years and you can start earning bitcoin from now.

Cost of living is not too high in my country, so I think if I have even 100 btc then I would be satisfied as it can give me good and comfortable retire life but its always good to have some more.

you need 200 Bitcoin to be able to live happily for 20 years. it is indeed very difficult. but it is a real value that is true today. Do not ever stop to get bitcoin.
Or more than that because if you are going to retire and you will not going to do a job in 20 years probably you need more than 100000 bitcoin because if you are going to buy house and lot and doing some traveling ofcourse you need a lot of bitcoin so that you can start life with our doing some stable job anyway good luck
