10-100 bitcoins can definitely set you up 20 years later. But it all depends on the price fluctuation of bitcoins. I think it will most definitely rise which will in turn lead to your investment rising with it.
also it's depends on your style of life. if you glamour, extravagant etc. you need 10BTC/month so for 20years you need arround 2400BTC  Agreeed really depends on what lifestyle you want if you get retired and if your aiming for luxuries life well you must need 1000btc and by that you can have a safety retirement but i dont think saving in bitcoin walllet is good idea for saving your retirement money, chances of losing money when wallet provider will close down their site, but really big amount of btc can really help you and all depends on how you spend it when it is in your hand. also wher you life can make your style diffirent , in asia you can life with $200-$400/month but im not sure in US america you can life with $500month If you are based in US then definitely you will need more money as cost of living is high in compare to Asian countries, and will also depend on your standard of living. |

That depends on the value of Bitcoin and that is hard to predict because it is a curreny so you never know what the value will be of Bitcoin and that is the problem, but you never know.
I think you need more than some 50 Bitcoins for sure otherwise it will be not possible to you if the value is going to reduce, there are many risks.
Since there is no stability in the price of bitcoin,you cannot peridict whats going to happen in next few years even. Even if is difficult to predict the price after few months also. |

Well, we need as many bitcoin her for the future, regardless of price. if you do need 10k bitcoin, you should start thinking about how to get it, because it's not easy, even a 1 BTC is not readily available at this time |

The price wont change much thats the way I feel. And if it does change its due to significant events like the halving to create it. Or other technical news like improving the block size or something else. But if you noticed lately, that this alt coin ETH has been taking over trying to match bitcoin - which hurts the price. And this is all before 20 years lol. |

Yeah i agree with you, i also live in asia. I think 200-500 bitcoins is enough for retire in 20 years. With that bitcoins you can do a business or make something and passive income on it. That is even more enough for me, I can live with 100 BTC for the rest of my life after 20 years if the price of 1BTC is going to be $100,000. Maybe I will live a luxurious life, just good for retirement. |

Since Bitcoin is not even 10 years in use, nobody can predict what will happen in next 20 years.
It is either possible there will be no use of Bitcoin or... there will be no fiat/banks (replaced by blockchain)
Even second option may not involve BTC - it has it's downsides (scalling, empty blocks) and many attempt to create improved crypto, different coin may take over.
Saying that, I've started my retire fund in BTC.

With bitcoin nothing is sure, same as that is the future. So nothing needs to be specific for the future, try to grab and earn bitcoin that is affordable. It is expected to give you a pleasant living after retirement.
