How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years?

I believe the number of bitcoin should be around 100-300 bitcoins should be enough for sure to retire believing that the price will hit soon the  800 dollars .But to have such amount nowadays only buying on investing with some kind of project.

I think the price of bitcoin in the future will exceed $ 800. so maybe you could earn more if you could collect 100-300 BTC

It's too hard to say now what they will be worth in 20 years. I think you should diversify in several types of investments, not just bitcoins. Maybe try to get 10 bitcoins, but put some money in stock, bonds, and gold as well.

I agree with you. The problem is how to earn that many bitcoins for retire to the next 20 years. 10000 bitcoin are so many though, but if you are a rich man, you can easily buy bitcoin and no need to earn it.

For me 100 bitcoins is enough amount to have a mid class life when you retire. And it's better if you use at least 10 or 15 bitcoin from that 100 to be a capital to be able to start running your own business because business is one of the best way to continue making money and in business also you controlled your time and you are the boss .

It would be unwise to invest all your money into bitcoin hoping it will flourish some day. I did invest around 10% of my funds into bitcoin, and honestly all that i get back i consider as a bonus.
Because bitcoin is the same as venture capital, The amount of risk vs reward can be compared with gambling and thus I wrote it off.

I suppose you are right. Bitcoin has a great potential but the time for millionaires is over. I don't see investing in bitcoin making you a millionaire now.

Its not good to hold our coins for next 20 years, if you want to earn profits from it then buying and selling should be done on regular basis, higher price will give you profits and lower price will give buying opportunity.

100 btc is more then enough to majority of us, and even if I am holding 50 btc then I would be much more satisfied as cost of living is not too high in my country, I can live luxury life with 50 btc.

Even me, I would already feel blessed to have that amount and I believe it would be possible for me to hit that amount as long as I will not stop saving and investing with bitcoins, time will tell and I wanna ride with the success as bitcoins grow.
