@michelem

Hello,

Just wanted to say thank you for your amazing work on minera.

I have been using it now for nearly a week and it's working like a charm.

I have two R-Box 100g both running perfect.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers.

Hey Dude,

I haven't overclocked them both r-boxes running at 122gh/s each at solo.antpool.com this very minute.

Minera is doing all the work all I've done is connect both r-box 100g's to the Raspberry Pi and designated which pool I want to hash at.

Cheers

You should look at logs or at least tell us the hardware you are trying to use.

Tried downloading 0.4.0 today... And it will not unzip on my macbook. Getting "No such file or directory." The second download mirror isn't available either. Attempting 0.3.7 to see if I can get any results.

This should work fine: http://getminera.com/releases/minera-latest.img.zip (It's the same for this: http://getminera.com/download/latest)

Mirror doesn't work anymore, I'm going to remove any link.

Thank you @michelem, finally was able to download Minera (the latest version) and am now going burning it to an SD card for use on my Raspberry Pi. If I have any issues at all I'll post back on this topic. My 3rd miner will be here probably Monday... BFL's at the moment and am looking at getting a 4th miner probably next month (if I can wait...).

Hello,
hope you are doing well guys, I'd like to announce I just started working on Minera 0.5.0

The new release will have a major change (and so a major version) bringing also Network Miners (like Antminer) to your preferred dashboard.

You will be able to add your network miners along with your current USB/Local miners, stats will be merged together and you will control both the type of devices in the usual way.

There isn't a release date yet but I hope to have something done in a couple of weeks to start testing.

If you have any suggestion/idea please share.

Have a great evening!

This has probably been answered before, but can you run both Scrypt and SHA-256 miners off the same Pi?

Using a couple of miner software processes yes you can. This means you have to run two different commands like bfgminer, one for SHA256 devices and one for Scrypt devices. Of course both commands must be well configured to bring up only the relative devices.

This cannot be done by Minera, I mean, you can run one of two commands by Minera web interface, but you need to run the second one by "hand" and you cannot control it by Minera web interface.

Thanks for the answer. That's what I thought. IT would be great to have the ability to control a "mix-and-match" farm from one controller, but seems there's no easy way yet

Hello i just wanted to say to the creater of minera thank you so much for this ...

i just got started in mining i started with 1 gridseed 5chip miner i was running raspbian in sorry if i get this wrong im not a linux person ... command mode via screen... took a really long time about 4 days of looking online to get the miner to work cause i have a raspberry pi b+ i tried many other variants of software for mining and none worked with b+ raspberry.. i now have 4 gridseed 5chips running on minera 0.4.0

i am a total new person with linux and your installation instructions were spot on and easy to follow

i have a question how long should i let the autotune run roughly before i should turn it off

anyways thanks again man for making this easy to use ... i can monitor this miner on my iphone and home network

Thanks
Chris

The autotune option will turn off itself after few hours and CPUminer maintains the tuned frequency until it is restarted. You don't need to do anything.

Is there any way to get this working with an Innosilicon A2 Terminator?

The problem with A2 is they never published an open source fork of their cgminer version, so there isn't a simple way to get it running in another system different by their.

I get this cgminer binary from https://github.com/MinerEU/scripta_a2 you could try to add it to your Minera (custom miner) and use it but I really don't know if it works (I haven't A2 to test).

Download: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/968241/cgminer

Please let us know, if it works I will add it to the official Minera release.
