This saddens me to see, I have been a faithful reader/user to dailyblackcoin. As a designer/developer myself, I know how unethical copying and pasting articles is. But the worst part is no doubt the hot linking your images. I hope you can get it resolved. Especially now a days when you can get custom, unique written content for articles for $5 on sites like fiverr.com.

I disabled hotlinking to prevent bandwidth stealing in the future. I probably should have done that in the first place.
I still want that article removed, it is theft of intellectual property.
Ok will delete it.

Hey guys want to post in this official thread also and invite everyone to play with us 1. About BCLotteryBCLottery is new weekly lottery for blackcoin community. Our main goal is to create stronger community around blackcoin and new weekly “event” for the community. The lottery is part of larger cryptocoin lottery service – http://cryptocoinlottery.netWe are the official lottery for blackcoin with recognition from the developer team. Also 50% from all BCLottery profits are donated to blackcoin development. You can see donation amounts from our homepage (amounts are updated every week after drawing). 2. The lotteryWe provide basic 5 number lottery with a weekly drawing. Our creative win distribution guarantees 50%-99% payout on every round. The ticket costs 8BC/ticket, but ticket price is review after every round and can be changed to correlate the changes in the value of blackcoin. BCLottery also offer serial tickets with fixed or live price. So you can get extra benefit from serial tickets if you can predict blackcoin value changes. 3.”Beat the odds” -campaignTo celebrate start of BCLottery, we are announcing “Beat the odds”-campaign. Every winning ticket purchased during this campaign will receive 100-198% payout instead 50-99%. The campaign is valid as long as campaign tickets are left, more info you can find from: http://bclottery.ga/promo.php

as i said in the other thread: who cares? there's as much reason for it as the last CINNI pump. DRK will never be adopted by merchants etc. as it is seen as a tool for criminals. btw. why wasn't it (obviously) the end of DRK when we passed it in market cap? oh and NIN sucks

I find it so funny when people start talking about an article on a damn blog an claim it's "property". And even more on a forum driven by open source stuff.

If you're in charge of this do some cleaning or require people to have the accept darkcoin on their website to get listed there. http://www.watchesmontreal.com/ this guy is on the map but he is listing only btc and doge. I know they are using mostly coinpayment for this but... put the damn logo there if you want free advertising.

There are a number of people who don't have the BC logo on their site, but who do take payment in BC. It might be that some are, at the moment, hitching a free ride, but the way I see it is they may well be testing the idea, and, should the site generate traffic, decide that BC is worth taking payment then. Better to have the site populated with a few undecideds than none at all, especially at such an early stage. That aside, I really don't have time to police something like this to that degree, having, as most of us do when contributing to the project, done so in my spare time without taking payment.

I appreciate your work and I know what pain in the *.. is to remove spam from such a project , having to check each and every one. I just didn't want this one to end up like the map of auroracoin for Iceland where there are business listed on top of the mountain with no association whatsoever to Iceland or the coin.

Thanks, yes, I know what you mean, and do run a cursory check when new listings are added to try to make sure nothing ridiculous is added. I'll keep an eye on it as things progress.

What's happening with those Blackcoin threads? More and more are appearing everywhere. Are the project developers divided or something?

nope, actually the dev has little to nothing to do with it. People are disagreeing how the marketing should be done - one group wants to rely on a foundation and the multipool, another group does not want. And then there are those like me who don't pick a side but will donate to projects that make sense, whoever gets them going.

Considering there is a single dev I certainly hope not. There was a bit of schism in community so for now we're playing in separate sandboxes.

There was a bit of schism in community so for now we're playing in separate sandboxes. you know some BC modlues can be writen not only by rat4 in long run more people can join to make features but rat4 is now focusing at security because we were 1st POS coin who turned of POW part completely. (as far i know rest was POW/POS hybrids for security) PS: IE is working at PR and BC cards not BC code updates...I don't see any problem here. BTC works same way they have even much more camps.

Yeah, I know, it's open source, but you still have to get people to install the new wallets.
