No one's saying Soepkip's not a good guy. No one's not appreciative of the work he does for BC. It's simply a suggestion that while not necessary, it is beneficial to dress in line with the image we want to convey. That doesn't necessarily mean a suit, but it does mean classy. And all those people in your images may not wear suits, but they are all very aware of the image and brand they present and dress accordingly.
Sure he could handle that better ^^ - next time we will donate him for some extra wear if he goes somewhere represent us. All agree ?? |

You know usually companies which request good "PR uniform" they deliver that dressing... Or are paying enough to get it... What is annual salary of Soepkip ? - Ups he is working mostly for free/donations. In same time guy from PR company wear business cloths why ? - Answer: They pay him for that. |

They submit a resume and go through interview stages  Actions and first impressions count - basics in Marketing/PR/Corp environments. |

No need to fuss much about it. It's a simple fix - khakis and a polo from now on? A lot of us in cryptoland are still young and learning (myself included). It's not the making the mistake that's the issue - it's whether or not we learn from them. A lot of us times we make simple mistakes without even realizing until pointed out. And for a future BC Multipool promo well after BC goes big, one lucky winner will receive Soepkip's pants autographed by him personally?  |

If you are hiring PR company for 32 000$ you can afford to spend next 200$ on suit for manager... jamieb81 - work for free, pay for all(trawel,suit...) just because me and few other greedy people want BC price rise +100%... I know all costs - time cost - suits costs.. .For free you will get only death in future for sure. |

And while I do not question Soepkip's ability to represent in general, I do think showing up at the first meeting with a firm you have just signed a deal with, looking like you just came by from the beach, is not exactly a good visual representation example.
Uhm, you guys do know that "Soepkip" in Dutch means "Soup Chicken" ? If you get taken seriously by a whole community with a name like that, I don't think you need to worry about the pants you're wearing...  |

Aw crap... and here all this time I thought it was "Soup Kitchen" - alluding to the fact that he's poor. We'll if it's a soup chicken then we probably should just buy him something like this to wear next time:  And for what it's worth... I wear a t-shirt and shorts to work almost every day - but if I'm having a meeting with a client I wear a shirt and tie (unless we've previously discussed a casual attire for the meeting, or it's being held outside at a hotel property pool). I think the thing that people should be made aware of is that in cities where tourism is 90% of the income, there's a very different perception of casual dress than there is in a city like LA, London, NYC, etc. Here in Las Vegas, I've gone out to a symphony and a ~$300/plate gourmet restaurant... and both times I've seen people in 'beach wear'. I'm not saying I liked it (I was wearing a suit both times), but at the same time - in tourist cities it kinda goes with the territory. We even have attorneys and some other business owners in this town that have done advertisements in shorts and a t-shirt that are on TV... and they still seem to get plenty of business! Whether or not they get any respect on the other hand, is totally debatable. |

but $$ does not buy you style, you either got it or you don't ( you can look classy without the need of Armani )

And it should also be said that style is very subjective and one person's 'classy' is another persons 'flashy' or even 'trashy'.  |

It was an absolute pleasure working on this. Wouldnt it be better to keep the actual B logo and write Blackcoin in chinese right under ? I'm not sure how much the letter 'B' will mean to Mandarin speakers. This actually brings up a point that came up on the subreddit long, long ago. What if we had a reverse/alternate logo? Something more graphic. Sort of like designing the 'back' side of the coin. A complementary branding. I remember the idea in the subreddit was two golden lions or something really noble and elite looking. KingShultz: I think you have the Chinese reversed. Your top character means "money" and the bottom character means "black" Even BTC is 比特币 I didn't create it, but I'll let ecochav know that it might be reversed. Or he might see it here. Looks good to me. Not that I could tell if it's right or not. But good work on fixing it so many times. Now we need this in physical form and hand it out on Chinese New Year! Damn we should have named it Redcoin. Red is lucky color in Chinese. Black might be bad luck. |
