I made a new account on "Sci-Fi Crypto Exchange" and I don't have a CURE wallet Smiley

Which pool supports ASIC? Had a quick look at the 4  on OP and they all seem to be GPU?
I would say all pools? Mining part of curecoin has SHA256 algorithm. So if you have asic for that should be good to go. (looking at difficulty and pools hashrate its def asic)

9 Millions points done after a little 36h and still nothing showing to the pool, there's more than 24h delay no?

I just checked my servers, your points are starting to register on the backend of the system. As of 5/12/2014 ~6pm EST your points will be showing up in the pool. It will take another day after that for the system to collect all your WU points. Most of your points are already in our system though, the rest will register the next day. As mentioned before there is a delay in pool shows vs what you have already folded. This is a whole different ball game then normal mining. And you are doing awesome folding! Keep it up and your share of Curecoins will be very nice. Around 6 pm EST tomorrow you should see most of your points converted into an estimated payout on the pool.

So far it looks like you have folded 8,492,324 points in 24 hours. I checked the logs, your first to last WU turned in are only 24 hours apart, not 36 hours. That is amazing folding power. Keep in mind that when you start to fold is not what really matters, what matters is when the WU is completed and uploaded and verified. Your Wu's are verified, and registered in our system. Keep folding, I think you will like what you see when the pool does its daily update.

For an example of the accuracy of what I can verify, tomorrow the pool will show 6656783 points in about 14 hours from the time Im writing this post. The rest of your points were handed in after the collection time, and those points will carry over to the next day. Congrats on being the fastest folder on the team so far. Sorry FifthGhostbuster and dime, but this new folder is about to pass both of you with a quickness. Id be excited to see you try to amp up the power to try to beat the new member Daliss.  Wink

May I ask what type of hardware you are folding with? Hitting close to 10 million points per day ( PPD ) is no easy task. My personal total folded points over the course of many months is ~11 million. Meaning you will double what I have done in months, in a matter of ~2 days.

Honored to have you on the team!

Damn that's worst than doing xpm @ ypool.

Now that brings back memories lol. Luckily unlike ypool the minimum payout will be very easy for you to achieve.

I like your sense of humor  Wink

+1 on that comment , Im probably not the only one that will get a well needed laugh at your reputable comment  Smiley I mean that in a good way just FYI  Grin Anyone that used ypool or mined XPM at all is likely a hard core crypto miner.

All of the pools are made for ASIC miners.

To utilize your gpu, you will want to follow this guide to fold for curecoins.

With the latest version of F@H software 7.4.4 you should be able to get core_17 work units without any modification. If need be you can edit the properties of your desktop shortcut and add --client-type=advanced to the end of the file path. This is shown in this guide http://www.curecoin.us/index.php?topic=9.0

Doing that will change the work requests for all of your cards at once instead of editing them one by one in you configuration panel.

So a logo having a chinese character makes it a chinese coin.

I'm really not sure how you can assume that.

Does this mean that r9 280x will have approximately same PPD as 7970 ?

Thanks

9 Millions points done after a little 36h and still nothing showing to the pool, there's more than 24h delay no?

You're hitting the mining pool pretty hard....

Correction, its the folding pool  Wink and yes, 9 million PPD is very fast.

Whats the difference between a mining pool and a folding pool ?

The mining pool is built for the best suited hardware, the ASIC, which does SHA algo mining to secure the blockchain.  The folding pool is what rewards you for for folding work units that can help scientists solve cures for diseases of many types, including cancer. GPU's and CPU's are best for these operations. GPU being the better option due to the parallel computing abilities associated with have 1000's of cores.  Please refer to the how to fold guide in the OP to learn more about folding to earn Curecoins.

The logo is was chosen because it is an ancient symbol that represents healing / curing. Definitely not a Chinese coin though, after all, the forum is hosted at curecoin.us Not that it matters what nationality we are from. I would enjoy the participation from anyone anywhere in the world, this coin is meant to cure diseases, for all of us.

Please don't think I'm a racist or something. I'm Chinese myself, just not from China.

I'm just irritated that the China Chinese miners would come in and ask if this coin is from China without reading any of the OP.
