It is my understanding that staking is already taking place, except that you don't have mature coins until thirty days. My wallet shows a stake weight when I run "getinfo" in the console, and also a little arrow symbol on the overview page that says "Not staking because you don't have mature coins" when you hover over it. Similar to other PoS coins I've played with. So long as your wallet and several others are connected to the network, it'll keep generating blocks. What I have no idea of is the block times. In some coins it seems to speed up significantly in PoS mode. Lower diff or something. |
