Here some read about POS:
http://www.blackcoin.co/faq/

PS. this is best time for hold your SYNCs, i think...

Thanks for the link. This is my first POS coin and this helps a lot.

Could you please me know, if there is a minimum amount of SYNC to be in the wallet for stakes?

No minimum, everyone gets 1% per annum regardless of volume

Thanks, do I need to buy or mine more coins to my wallet as at the moment 'I don't have mature coins?'

I am at 0.1356 SYNC now?

Are the addnodes in the OP updated since the mandatory update, or are those the old ones?

POW mining is over, Long live multi-pool "mining", only at http://sync.multipoolmining.com/

we mine x11 and scrypt coins with your hashrate and purchase SYNC for you on exhanges. This will drive price skyhigh by a consistent demand. It is also the only way now to "mine" SYNC!

*Today we added BTC profitability stats
This is latest number of our profitswichter and the actual value for shares mined at that moment
Stats for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days (or any other wised interval by community) will be added in near future
*Current hash-rate: approx 1 GHS
*You can choose between X11 and Scrypt mining.
*Next Payout is Saturday 20-22.00h CET (Amsterdam) (less then 21 hours from now!)
*Mining 3 x11 coins as we speak, Sunday GDN will be added (frozen chain now) and possibly some others on Saturday

Our suport channel is #multipoolmining (we do sleep sometimes and have lot of coding works, if we are not around leave your message and we will see it!)

Happy mining and enjoy your SYNCs!

this

edit:
what worrries me is its pos, so if you have to have say .8 sync or more then a max of 1250 wallets creating blocks at a max of 4 blocks each a day
will this not hurt the coin in the long run?

it isn´t right that you Need 1 sync to stake. your Chance to get it faster, thats right, but u have a Chance to stake with smaller amount too.
there was a link, some sites before, where is was explained.

but realize this, if you have 0,024 sync and get 1 % per anno then you have after one year 0,024*1,01 = 0,02424
