There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Thats what the dev stated, however these are blocks with 0 reward. they are there to have a "smoother" transition into PoS

HELP
i dont know how to update a wallet, cant i just download a new one and transfer my coins to that thanks

Assuming you are on windows do the following:

open explorer (not internet explorer) and type: %appdata%
locate: Sync
delete everything in that directory except wallet.dat
Strat the new wallet and let it update.

Done.

no to scary for me what about a new wallet transfer will that work

That's not scary. Your wallet is wallet.dat, delete everything else.

ok thanks so all info ..my coin amount...is in the wallet.dat...ok  backup then delete all except wallet.dat then with my download wallet zip reinstall wallet and it will now that the wallet.dat is there with my coin count right?

you lose USB stick and it is all gone in seconds, we want to lock all our SYNC's to create very tight secure market, it is part of it's allure

type "how to encrypt wallet" and "crypto" and another search "how to encrypt USB drive" this is your Today's homework, take your time, your future retirement might be in your hands (depending on the amount) also do not give in to immediate gains even if coin goes up to 6 BTC per unit.. hold tight thank you

"difficulty" : {
"proof-of-work" : 1139.30164915,
"proof-of-stake" : 0.00024414

The p2pools still show the old difficulty.. I think they might have lost connection.

Ir would probably be more beneficial if those miners mine through their own wallet or to Suchpool.

theres a folder with the data base if i delete that will my coins dissapear

No, your coins are stored only in wallet.dat

PLEASE 1) ENCRYPT your wallet and 2) BACKUP your wallet , preferably to more than one drive

iam to new at this never encrypted before but i did copy all files to a usb stick  cant i download a new wallet and send the coins to the new wallet?

I am a bit new to all this too and am a really old person compared to you guys. You don't need to be scared. I have done what has been suggested for other coin wallets. It is safe.
