Wallet says not staking because no mature coins, but isnt it supposed to be only 50 blocks for maturity?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Couple of questions...
Staking begins at block 8200 now?
Why did the transition to staking fail the first time?
What has been done to fix this?

If this helps anyone, here's the config file I use to get 6.8 MHS out of 3 280x GPUs:
.\sgminer -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://stratum.multipoolmining.com:5555 -u my wallet address -p x --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -I 13 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 0-85 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 70 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1180 --gpu-powertune +1
I played with many configs to come up with this one.
I get the similar hash rate with 4 x 280x. But mine are Gigabyte and are notorious for hahsing less than other brands. I get 1.6 average each. Try this: thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 --lookup-gap 2 --worksize 256 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1160 --gpu-memclock 1450 running 9.6 MH/s with 4x Sapphire r9 280x Vapor-x

And stop mining @Hashhot people, they are on the old chain!
they simply ban your worker after a few minutes anyway. There's no need to mine this anyway now as difficulty is down to a controllable level. If anyone is still necessary to generate heartbeats, it should be only one or two GPU's and they should be gradually tuned down. OK thx. pointing my worker back at the multipool. Let us know if you need more of us working on the extra 1000 POW blocks to get that solved. I will come back to help out as it's in all of our best interests. getting a reward for keeping the chain alive would be nice.... getting through 1k blocks with 0 rewards dont really inspire a great deal of miners to actually help. ..they don't have to. The acute emergency situation is over and if people pull out ASAP, the difficulty will very soon be manageable with one single cpu-miner. So stop mining thin air and come back to Darkcoin or whatever gives the highest profit now. x11 (XC) ... hope our multipool is mining it Thanks, I changed to it immediately. Mining with rejectmining.com . It's p2pool, 1%fee including tranfer to wallet, and better than any multipool ever can be. Better mobilize some BTC to defend SYNC agains the hyenas the next few days

I see improvements both for 270x and 290x by using 4 threads

http://i.stack.imgur.com/9y9uk.gifHalf the people on here don't seem to understand why only a single GPU would be sufficient to finish up the remaining 1000 blocks. So obviously there is a decent amount of confusion going on. I think these are reasonable questions.... One of the selling points of this coin was that the launch went so smoothly. The average person should be able to understand what's going on and be able to make an informed decision about investing in or mining this coin.

Even among the 4 gigabyte that I have 2 behave differently and that is because they have different memory chips (Elpidia and Hynix). Saphhire are known to give good hash.

That's not bad, but... Evga gtx 750ti, 2.1 mh/s pulling 41 watts at the wall.

Your hashrate is normal. Pulling 120W from the wall is probably because you are mining with x11. Scrypt will double that.

That is heavy overclocking or ? run it stable ? yup heavy overclocking. it runs quite stable and i have low error rates on any of the pools I have used....compared to the Pool average. My temperatures are below 60 C on all 3 GPUs.

No settings or settings file to mess with. Simply run the latest CCminer. ccminer.exe -a x11 -o stratum+tcp://drkpool.com:3333 -u user -p pass I use precision X to adjust my OC on the fly. Go stroke each other in another place this is the sync thread and not the how do I do x11 thread ... and dont hijack the thread go to irc or get a room stupid stay on topic and the topic is SYNC
Sync was x11, so how is that off topic?
