Why? I wouldn't recommend doing it at this point of the coin. This is ridiculous! I'm now staking, my wallet is syncing perfectly so this recent fork went as smooth as one could hope for. I was hoping for some disaster so we could see a mass dump and drop in price again, this sort of stability of product is just not acceptable! Whomever is responsible for this perfection must be punished!

when I opened today I received a stake and I closed the wallet and bought some at the exchange and withdraw the coins at the exchange to my wallet, but when I opened my wallet it wont synchronize it just saying "catching up... Downloaded 9265 of 9713 blocks of transaction history (95.39% done) last receive block was generated 5 hours ago..
IM still waiting for the coins from the exchange to my wallet
IM scared if I dowloaded a new file wallet my coins and my wallet and the one that is coming it will be lost.
can someone please help me? Im very new to to this stuff.

when I opened today I received a stake and I closed the wallet and bought some at the exchange and withdraw the coins at the exchange to my wallet, but when I opened my wallet it wont synchronize it just saying "catching up... Downloaded 9265 of 9713 blocks of transaction history (95.39% done) last receive block was generated 5 hours ago..
IM still waiting for the coins from the exchange to my wallet
IM scared if I dowloaded a new file wallet my coins and my wallet and the one that is coming it will be lost.
can someone please help me? Im very new to to this stuff.

Don't ever overwrite or delete or otherwise lose your wallet.dat, and also copy it somewhere safe as a backup. Your coins are not "in" your wallet.dat, they are recorded on the blockchain. But the only way to access them is via the private keys in wallet.dat. |

It's not bad once you figure out where they put everything and how to get to them. It's not good either, and a lot of hardware is being shipped out to not work well with 7. My wally world HP came with 8.1, I got completely sick of it, and put 7 on it, with proper drivers, and had endless problems. So, I put 8.1 back... slower than god. Now I have ubuntu and I'm seeing the kind of performance you would expect with 4 cores and 8 gigs of ram. Learning a new OS at my age isn't the easiest thing I've ever attempted, but so far it's going well. Sync wallet works a lot better than it did under windows as well  Got hardly nothin' in it, but what the hell. |

WHEN I TRIED TO INSTALL THE NEW WALLET IT ASK ME IF I WANT TO REPLACE EXISTING FILE?
SHOULD I MOVE THE OLD WALLET.DAT SOMEWHRE?
AND SAME TIME I WILL SAVE LIKE GOING TO FILE BACKUP WALLET IN SAVE IT AGAIN TO DIFFERENT FOLDER?
