I have bought coffee from CryptoMercado many times. Shipping is fast, coffee is bomb. LLTGC. Here are pictures of my last order: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FvWpQemh.jpg&t=663&c=0EYE2NEaaTGgNw) That could be anything in that package. Where's the beans? Really, doog? ;( Also, by default we ship the beans ground, as you saw in the coffee can pic. I wouldn't take that as a personal insult. Also, it may have been a reference to this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FaIwzPlf.png&t=663&c=MmFKxcOGynd2mQ)

I had clam-qt 1.4.16 running on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and started it yesterday, it was 17 weeks behind syncing. So syncing starts but hangs at week 17. Restart clam-qt syncing 1 week more and stops again. So I update to 1.4.17, same problem, after half or 1 week blocks it just stops syncing, clam-qt isn't hanging or sleeping, it's running. Any suggestions how to solve this?

That and part of the goal is to get people off of the whole "crypto = Silk Road" association.

Are my old bitcoin addresses still convertible to Clams?
Why do clams hold their value when so many alts have tanked to oblivion?

big dump= new holders=uncertainity against they being just shorting and such, is what i personally believe. Yes just pop up on just dice chat and use /dig ADDRESS to check if its funded and /dig address pkey to claim. Or download the clam wallet.

You are lucky, claiming is still possible though clamholders might soon disable that feature out of fear. Clams hold their value mostly only because just-dice exists. It's a pretty big casino from a very trusted user. Clamm became some kind of dice site coin and gamblers buy regularly on the exchanges. This makes the price stable.

Yes but Bitcoin already has a number of trusted dice and casinos up so the fact that people exchange for this coin just to play dice seems a bit odd. An unnecessary step so to speak but I guess the staking is alluring.

The hard way is downloading the wallet, the easy way is going to jd and /dig address pkey or just /dig address to check if funded, all this is on faq. Also yes you have to give pkey, you should move your funds first, it may be a pain for physical coin holders.

The recommendation is to ensure that any keys you use to claim are emptied first (and don't reuse them later)

You forget that just-dice is the oldest and most established dice site at all. So it has many fans already. Using clams is no real hurdle, only exchange on poloniex and that's it. But many hold clams on justdice as investor so they earn from justdice while playing.

When Just-Dice first launched, there were at least 4 other dice sites already running: * satishidice * primedice * coinroll * btc-dice That last one was a straight satoshidice clone, and I may have got its name wrong. Since then satoshidice and coinroll have changed hands, and btc-dice has gone away (I think). PrimeDice is still around, and seems to have taken up most of the volume left behind when Just-Dice stopped accepting Bitcoin.

Unless you are a small player you will take a significant hit from slippage in both directions. Maybe that is consistent with what dooglas says he wants though, to keep things smaller.

I did not hear from other dice sites back then. But it's right, just-dice lost most of his users to primedice it seems. Happy person who owned that site back then. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
