i'm guessing that in the future our Dev will make xnodes simple even for non tech ppl to set up, this is really important, it needs to be just the press of a button sort of thing, i hope this is possible, because it will make all the difference.
yeah, the simpler the more people will like to use it long way to go dev...  I have never seen a beta client with perfect setup and 100% user friendly! Userguides are produced and on IRC are people helping out! XC is work in progress and uncharted territorie. We as a community have to find these hickups / bugs and keep reporting them so they can be fixed and handeld. I dont doubt The wallet will become user friendly in time this is just dressup what countdown is underlying code! |

So how did the mixer work? I know a few have tried it and I did not see any response back from the receiver.
BTW, can I use the XC coin pic for my little pic for the forum? I have grow past BBQ, for I think I have shown my loyalty to that coin long enough lol.

Just updated to v1.38 due to a minor bug.. http://xc-official.com/release/wallets/All of the updates address specific items in the XNode code.. Part of that change requires a new wallet label called MIXER w/the XC's in it The user guides will be updated first thing tomorrow morning to include these changes ATCSECURE Try and be less vague, what exactly is a "wallet label"  I've been running an xnode since they came out and last got any payment for doing so on 3rd June (updating wallets as soon as they come out), I never had any "wallet label" named MIXER, my wallet was unlocked for staking only & I simply ran the xnode mainnet batch file. What you are saying implies this has changed, where is the changelog for each new wallet release? Please clarify this, I am by no means a crypto newbie but you need to be more specific with details of how the software you are releasing needs to be configured. Change LOG is in the ZIP file for the v1.38 release a wallet label, is the name you give the account when you create a new receive address updated user guides will clearly show the procedure, and will be released shortly ATCSECURE thanks for the update.  |

As I indicated, v1.36 was just for testing,
v1.37 will be released tonight, it will require 100 XC's to be an XNode
Also the Encrypted Messaging beta could be released for testing by the end of the week...stay tuned

Would be nice to hear what is in the works and what progress is being made, BUT also this is dangerous since code features that are under development and their estimated delivery times are creating expectancies on the part of traders. This is irrelevant for the long run of course since a good coin with good marketing will probably make it long term anyway, but if a lot of people expect punctual investment returns (which is unrealistic in itself) the forum will be crowded with nervous comments and FUD. I personally like the style of the dev team, not over promising but steadily giving updates. Keep up the good work... Fundamentals are keeping XC above 100k but until the VRC bull market is over the fast money will still be in VRC. Could be a volume switch from VRC to XC when V2 comes out. I am expecting a lot of movement over this weekend for both coins I personally prefer XC but right now I am following the volume and technical indicators supporting VRC right now but that could all change within 24 hours all it takes is the right news. Edit: Just wanted to add, a lot of late buyers got burned on the XC pump (not me I was an early investor/ smart money) but it makes sense that with a pump to 500k the majority of XC investors got burned by the pump. This is going to make it difficult for XC to recover even if it has the best fundamentals. If the volume comes back to XC then I will dump my 100k+ VRC. Remember without volume all it takes is one whale to crash XC from 130k back to 100k. |

No there was a pump and dump up to 28k then back to 11-12k, the dump was exacerbated by trolls spreading fud in the thread. Though I really need to get working on my volume API scripts so I can check volume more easily. edit: VRC volume just went up a little bit over the last half an hour. |

Its hard to put something like that in stone. You can talk the talk but actually putting it into action is another story. I know these guys can do it, but I would not hold it agenst them if they did nto give exact dates until stuff is closer to release. |
