True, but before adoption comes, there needs to be a demand so ASK FOR IT! Don't wait for the team to make your investment go 'to the moon', what skills do you have that can help or improve XC? Just requesting other companies to add XC helps. Complaining about PayPal ripping you off, outside this crypto world, and dropping the alt-scene in between helps, spray paint the logo next to a goat on your garden wall for all i care.

Why is it that we use BTCtalk for these daily chats?

This is an extremely cumbersome interface for chatting at the pace people sometimes post in this thread.

Perhaps we should try and make a better effort to use IRC instead?

Plus, these forums are birthing an abundance of trolls every day. Perhaps it's time to think about moving the activity here to a new location and leave the trolls to feed on each other here.

Yeah i agree with that point, We should perhaps make a website or just a simple page with a standard Q&A about XC and the most common questions asked by newcomers , and a dated list of everything and anything that has been released or done over the months

But it would be much better to use IRC as a place to talk and plan things , instant messaging and more people there and ready, then once we have achieved plans or talked about it more in-depth then they can be posted here. when they are more concrete than theoretical

XC has a chance now, I think there is a danger of us dropping off the map, I think we will see a big reduction in coins, we will still see a few P+D's but I see a much smaller market now going forward - smaller and more concentrated...

Yeah, this thread is important for announcements for those thinking of investing to come and see to learn about XC's past and future.

But 90% of what goes on in here is chatting amongst ourselves and having all of this discourse in the ANN thread makes it harder to find the pertinent info, the juicy stuff that investors need to know.

IRC is great for daily discourse. This thread should be for ANNs. Our forum at XCTalk is great also for ANNs and some discourse, but people are more likely to use an interface where they can keep up on several coins at once like BTCtalk or IRC.

I'd say we could all just move to XChat, but we need Mac and Linux clients for that to be successful.

1 day before Nubits was released i tweeted about https://www.ccedk.com/ tying in XC and the CCEDK owner to add XC , they were a new exchange low volume, They recently just added 6 new coins and have a volume alone of over 2 million dollars just on nubits . It's an exchange that is gaining were others are losing.

They have 3 fiat options Euro, GBP and dollar. would be a great addition to the amount of exchanges

Allcoin is another exchange, small but is slowly growing . It's not just about adding to exchanges but people who solely use certain exchanges knowing and hearing about XC since being on the exchange of their choice, being on new exchanges is free advertisement and added volume.


Perhaps having a little exchange drive , people here sending tweets and requests for XC to be adde to their exchanges , working together so the efforts are not wasted in single 1 person attempts.

There are many other exchanges that we have the chance of being added to if we put the effort in and don't have the mentality of "if we build it they will come"

@cryptico , sorry to hear about paypal charging stupidly exorbitant amounts, I quite a few years ago had a semi decent drop shipping business going buying from china undercutting most other people in products similar, came into complications with a chinese wholesaler , orders had to be cancelled , everyone was refunded and safe i made dam well sure of it. But nope paypal decided to completely freeze my funds even after everyone had been paid back . frozen and unable to access them for like 3-4 months . Account just closed and screwed . Never used them ever since  They are a blackhole of fraud and bullshit .

Edit : i sent ya 50 XC to make the shit from paypal easier to deal with lol

Ill take a look, but so many exchanges out there are not so good.

That's the truth.  Only a handful I will use currently, and it took me way too long to build trust with them.  Have a hard time letting new ones in.

I was pissed that I had to sell all my XC about 2 months ago.  Been buying back in slowly over the last 2 weeks at roughly the same price.  What other coin can anyone say that about?

The (provisional) plan is to have the distributed content server done before we deliver the final XChat at Rev 2.5.

No at this stage. I think the discussion here was quite fruitful, and that we got to work through a bunch of options.

We now need to consult on some legal aspects of it, and get a pile of details sorted out.

I'll keep you all posted as soon as we have some updates on it. Can't wait.
