Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Honestly my reasoning for commenting on the reddit article is because I legitimately get irritated when people try to hype closed source privacy / money software in this space.
I felt the same about darkcoin. I'm butthurt by the way your PR team dealt with, or tried to deal with the Jasinlee debacle. But most of my points I would have made towards the hype going towards darkcoin six months ago. Now that it's opensourced I have much less of a problem with it.
Honestly, I legitimately get irritated when dumbasses lose money and blames other people for their problem because they didn't do their due diligence. |

Yes I did. The videos you sent me are not really about numbers though, they're about physics. Nassim Haramein is not a reputable physicist. I haven't had time to look up Marko Rodin though because he doesn't have a Wikipedia page. Woah, woah....woah. Hold your horses, synechist. I don't think you want to open up this can of worms in this thread. I've taken several workshops on Nassim's theories. Why might you say that Nassim is not a reputable physicist? Because he doesn't have a university physics degree by which his mind would have been conditioned to fall in line with the asinine assumptions of the world's university-educated physicists? A degree is not necessary to qualify one as a reputable physicist, good sir. Nassim has some quite novel ideas that make more sense than anything I ever studied in my university physics classes. I am a physicist and this guy is clearly full of shit to anyone that has a clue. None of his ideas make any sense. You claim you didn't understand the absolute lowest level physics class. So why should anyone care what you think about physics? There is a reason he's considered a crank and it's not because everyone that has gone to study physics at universities is brainwashed. If you actually studied something with substance you would know there is no brainwashing that happens in physics class. This isn't social science or finance. It is true that a degree is not necessary to be a good physicist. But an education is. And that education people get at school. There are very few self taught physicists who have published anything noteworthy that I'm aware of. This guy definitely hasn't. |

I agree. I'll stick to any objective talking points for future FUD threads just like XMR. Closed source, PoW -> PoS instamine, etc. It wasn't even Jasinlee who "stole" your money! He was just related to the project. No. Jasnilee was the sole project owner. He had one developer working for him - Mustache who stole some coins and then returned them (according to Jasinlee). Hahahabaha I read the reddit ... butthurt much there buddy? Rofl!! If it makes u feel better your comment made it to the top lol ... Def a black eye to the xc pr machine. It looks like to me there is another fud campaign towards XC and a LOT of it is coming from Darkcoin supporters.
There is another few forums I venture too and try and put the good work of XC out there and engage in a lot of discussion about it - but half way through the conversations a dark fud troll party starts happening. Even after reminding them of the truce and to read over my posts as I am not even attacking drk as I barely mention it and lets be honest I cant mention drk and xc in the same sentence as equal when we all know XC is lightyears ahead of drk.
Even to the point they are creating NEW threads that never existed before about the coin on the forums trying to shove dark coin and its inferior coinjoin masternode nonsense down peoples throats. One even wrote a very very biased "blog" review and posted it under the guise of Dark altcoins and went on to explain darkcoin for 3/4 of it and the last small paragraphs were about tor/xcurrency/xmr - barely a sentence or 2 and with no information about it at all and just said to watch out for those claiming anon. Like LOL coinjoin anon ? I dont think so Tim. I nearly posted up the whitepaper of coinshuffles anons but its whatever I gave the correct links and its up to people to decide for themselves and not be bullied into it which is what dark supporters are doing now.
There is no stopping them so Ill let their community do whatever they want as it only affects themselves in the long run. Its all ironic as the same claims are brought up on every forums lately - jainslee etc, this is a fud campaign. But anyway enough about other coins - which are no where near us in terms of tech/vision.

we need to step up the game I have a feeling that rev 2.5 and rev 3 will not be too far from each other as Dan is already working on group chat that should have been a Rev3 release.
After the code reviews I believe xc will gain the crown of 1st crypto innovator as it should be.

Assholes like that look for victims not opponents and we are way to fucking nice with this assholes and let them pull us into their unwinnable arguments while they sit there laughing their asses of.
I hope this atlas review comes asap and is positiv. would shut this fuckers up for good.

I am not even concerned about any short term pricing of XC anymore. Seriously, look at the roadmap for XC... that's just the surface of it. Imagine how much more Dan has in store as a surprise for us. Just accumulate now while it's low. Don't worry about the long term. Go look around and try to find another with such an awesome roadmap. We are not talking fly by night unknown coders with their "future plans" of other coins. Dan has delivered before not just in crypto, but in real life professional situations. Look at the blockchain map of our anon solution that KimmyF has charted for us. Is there really anything to worry about? Just don't sweat the short term. ps. XC have not fork even once unlike that coin that fork every RC release... |
