i guessed you missed the part where development has already begun for the Blocknet

Dude.  It's easy to create a 'hello world' program in your target language and say "development has begun".  I'm just fishing for substance which is incredibly lacking in these PR releases

wait I'm confused, you replied to a post about the ongoing development of XC claiming the blocknet would slow down the coins development. I said you probably are not even an XC investor (based on your post history and fudding all of the other XC related topics) so why are you even here talking about it? If you want PR info on blocknet, go to the respected thread where it is discussed. Why come here and spread your baseless claims? Why do you care about XC and its on going development?

Reading that PDF makes BlockNET & it's project schedule sound like the creation of a new digital currency, to be honest.  It sounds like BlockNET aims to accomplish in large part what XCurrency always aimed to accomplish.

In light of this -- how will BlockNET conflict with XCurrency & XC Inc?

It sounds like a typical tech project's development plan.

I don't get how any of this makes it look like its function overlaps with XC's. I mean, we've been over all this in immense detail already.

What could possibly be new here? Nothing.

Is XCurrency no longer planning it's own decentralized exchange as was once reflected on the timeline?

Is XCurrency no longer planning cloud storage as reflected on the timeline?

Because I see all these items on the BlockNET now.

"No more than 20% of the available tokens (2,000,000) will be purchasable using altcoins. The remaining 80% will
be purchasable using BTC on Bittrex, Bter, and Poloniex."

why only 20% can be purchased using altcoins?

If you can't see that the development team is basically moving all their focus into BlockNET and fail to understand how that effects XC then I don't know what to tell you.  Development time will follow the money.  The money will be in the BlockNET

I've heard assertations that development will not slow down for XC.  However I've heard no practical reasons on how Dan dividing his time between XC which is already behind and a new "build the web of blockchains" project will not slow down his current development project.

Where've you been Battbot? This has all been discussed in detail here.

Yes we are still planning cloud storage.

Regarding the exchange, can someone please haul out my response to Cryptico? I'm on a bus.

I haven't read the forums that much lately.  Haha, my apologies if they have already been discussed.

If you have time, can you explain, or give an example of how this will work:

"Token supply per coin will initially be allocated based on market cap, and adjusted manually if demand necessitates
it."

why only 20% can be purchased using altcoins?

Because holding more than 20% of a high-risk asset can threaten the viability of a project.

It's important to ensure that the Blocknet has the funding to succeed. Imagine investors' money didn't go the distance?

Ya, it would be foolish to hold only altcoins that, generally, have terrible liquidity.  Selling to fund development would crash the price.  I think the 80/20 split is a wise compromise.

CoinGateway will have a quantity of Blocknets tokens available for each coin in proportion to the market cap of the coin relative to the other coins.

If one coin turns out to be selling fast and another indicates low interest in tokens, then more tokens can be allocated to the first coin in order than tokens don't run out for that pairing.

Definitely the 80/20 split is a wise decision. More stability.

In this type of scenario, is it possible, for example, to have a situation where only one coin (let's say XC) ended up with the entire 20% of the ITO that was allocated for participating altcoins?  Is it "first come, first serve" in this sense?  Or will there be hard caps per altcoin?

Edit* Nevermind, I re-read what you said more carefully, I think it answers my question.

But I suppose it doesn't answer this question - will it be first come first serve for each coin?  What if one XC holder, for example, at 5AM EST filled the entire portion set aside for XC in an instant, making other XC holders unable to convert for a 10% discount.  Perhaps there should be limits per user / IP, if possible?

Please explain how to get ITO blocknet from coingateway.net
Using XC, XST, LXC, SSD AND APEX COINS
Will coingateway will have coins deposit address besides BTC to deposit coins for conversion with ITO
And than Ito will be sent to bittrex deposit address

How come XC price is dropping so much?  Shocked

theres been some proven hardcore manipulation the last week( night eu times dumping in the thousands), there was inadequate bying support at the time which has formed the (new) resistance at around 70k. The large dumping seems to have ceased for the last 24 hours

ps: it was pretty obvious the dumping has to do with possibly just one dumper because, for example, there is nothing wrong with development to trigger a mass dumping, and the dumping has been consistent volume-wise and time-wise.

Weird and wonderful world of crypto. I guess if I didn't want XC to be used to buy Blocknet, I would want to see it's price drop at this time. Otherwise, I can't see any reason for the drop. Often asked at such times, but who in their right mind would dump XC at this point if not to manipulate? I'm getting out the popcorn to watch what happens over the next week or so and' of course, I'm buying.

Reebokasss do myself and everyone else here a favor and stop posting unless you have something to say that is based on logic rather than emotion.

I'm getting tired of reading your emotionally driven pessimistic posts.
