Thanks , max temps are about 75degrees.
I had some problems with nist5, never above 14mh/s , but saw platinums config using -I 16 and that was the solution.
it appears 5.8mh/s is the top i am gonna get with my 290x at the same clocks but i had to bump the work size up to 256 to get than tried 64 like you had and my hash rate dropped to 5.3 from 5.7 at 128 this is on my second card (the one that isn't maxed out on temp) That's correct, for x11 I used another bin from another miner. U can't find any differences? no i havent been maintaining it lately as i cant build since i broke my mingw build environment and haven't been able to fix it and there is a huge difference in size of the .cl files right off hand he is using #define SPH_KECCAK_UNROLL 1 instead of 0 and also added aes helper directly into the kenel whereas aes_helper.cl has actually been commented out of the original edit: this kernel looks closer to the nvidia x11 kernel than it does to the original amd oneedit2: ok there isnt that much different after you trim out all the extra code that is duplicated from the base algo .cl files (i.e. blake,bmw,etc...) it seems the main change must be in the Groestl portion as it fails to build the kernel if i remove that code and replace it with #include "groestl.cl" i have replaced all the other code but this and #define SPH_LUFFA_PARALLEL 1 and still get the same hash rate this also made the .cl file way smaller edit3: the extra hashes are definitely coming from the groestl algo, but i am out of time for working on it tonight. will pick up again tomorrow |

I really wish I knew, I changed so much shit in the last 4 hours, I'm trying to find a stable rock before I go to sleep. At 1050/1500 it ran but shit on itself when flipped algos; near the same for 1040/1400. 1040/1300 works on 2 rigs solid, but not 3rd. 1040/1300 and removing "disable ULPS" in MSI AB will not get you superhigh 5.9-6M hashrate, more like 5.6, but at least drivers hold. It may have to do with MSI AB. I don't think it's LUFFA... I got the idea to sub the smaller groestl.cl in the folder, since all x[n] algos call for it, and it's the one that is most impacted by 14.6+ There's practically no change, except for lack of whitespacing in the .cl file, which makes it smaller. All these .bins were built with the linked miner, from the 12th, so should be able to replicate; these weren't .bins yanked from aznboy84's miner. |

Nice, I don't have sick card, running for 10hours now.
I see u get about 200kh/s more with x13/x15, is it because of your higher memclock or because u change the cl for x13/x15? Otherwise can upload u your bin or cl?
I really wish I knew, I changed so much shit in the last 4 hours, I'm trying to find a stable rock before I go to sleep. At 1050/1500 it ran but shit on itself when flipped algos; near the same for 1040/1400. 1040/1300 works on 2 rigs solid, but not 3rd. 1040/1300 and removing "disable ULPS" in MSI AB will not get you superhigh 5.9-6M hashrate, more like 5.6, but at least drivers hold. It may have to do with MSI AB. I don't think it's LUFFA... I got the idea to sub the smaller groestl.cl in the folder, since all x[n] algos call for it, and it's the one that is most impacted by 14.6+ There's practically no change, except for lack of whitespacing in the .cl file, which makes it smaller. All these .bins were built with the linked miner, from the 12th, so should be able to replicate; these weren't .bins yanked from aznboy84's miner. Thanks, gonna test the linked sgminer and see what hashrates i get. |

So I disabled Unofficial Overclocking, and disabled ULPS in MSI AB; and rigs seem to be stable beyond 15mins.
I'm passing out for a bit but I won't be surprised if I wake up to some hung rigs.
