Preparing my GCN kernel for public release; cleaning code, removing stuff I tried that really sucked, like completely unrolled chacha/salsa, stuff like that. After that, I'll package it up with SGMiner and it should be good to go. Should give results like this (NSFW): https://ottrbutt.com/miner/neoscryptwolf-11082014.png

Thanks for your hard work and exciting images Wink.

Thanks to ystarnaud the sgminer-develop branch has been updated with badman74's optimizations: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/develop. And thanks to elbandi&nicehash you can already download new sgminer-5.1-develop binaries (neoscrypt algo, whirlcoin, diamond v2 and the arebyp scrypt kernel, badman74 optimizations): https://www.nicehash.com/software/#sgminer

Need "badman74" binaries plz
ok my master branch is updated with neoscrypt changes, and new binaries are up
not sure if it will help....
mine is throwing HW errors on diamond, groestlcoin, and scrypt/nscrypt kernels with 14.6
was only doing this with scrypt/nscrypt
on the other hand Xn algos, and neoscrypt seem fine

nice one badman74,,,,,,,,,, is it your "modded for extra hashes" binaries that you have updated ?

cheers

In my new sgminer-5.1-dev minning algorithm X11 gives many hardware errors !!! With 14.6 drivers under Windovs! What can I do to stop hardware errors? * .bat file for me

del *.bin
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer.exe --algorithm x11 -o stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3412 -u XXX -p XXX --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8193 --intensity 18 --worksize 256 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-reorder
pause

still with sgminer-4.2.2 works perfectly!
Thanks!

I'm also having problem using sgminer-5.1-dev mining Scrypt-N algo. Throwing hardware error and hash rejections eventhough I already run it with stock settings and only intensity 13 with 14.6 drivers. Any recommended tool for Scrypt-N? TIA

if the one that's working for you is my latest mod binaries, it "should be" just the 5.0.0 branch with all the changes added instead of the dev branch
not sure what might be different in the dev branch so i have no idea why Xn algos are giving errors on 5.1.0-dev

i have never been able to make scrypt-n work without at least some HW errors....
but i have had the best luck with alexkarnew kernel

Also getting tons of HW errors everywhere as soon as difficulty changes with X11. Going to try an older 5.0 sgminer build and see if it works.

So the new neoscrypt kernel "isn't released yet", but the hashrate on most of the neoscrypt coins has doubled in the last few hours..

Is that's how it's gonna be?  Know someone to get the new kernel?

I think the neoscrypt's hashrate  increase is because its profitablity has increased also.
In the oposte way is scrypt-A losing hashrate.

Nope. It's here: https://ottrbutt.com/tmp/neoscrypt.cl

Worksize should be 64, don't bother setting TC, GPU threads 2. Basically the same as my earlier screenshot.

wow nice!!

Thanks Cheesy

Some people got this at least sunday. I received on sunday the offer to buy new kernel.cl from the member of this forum. I wont discover his name, its just to clean situation about hash growing. Its not because profit.

It doesn't work. Too much hardware errors. Tested on various cards with all possible combinations of settings. What I notice is that if I leave old 14.9 *.bin file it works but then there is no performance increase at all.
