New 0.5 Wolf Miner? Hehehehe.

My program to mod it is really, really simple - run it, it displays current value and increments by one. Then just run it until you're at the desired value.

Mate, lol, are you going to release / implement this feature with your miner or will it be a private release? Also I dont have any programming skills, so I wouldnt know where to start to look / identify.

Dear Cubirez

I modified the bios of my Saphire RX470, but I could not put the memory clock to more than 1900.
If I put it above the pc hangs.
And the most I got was 670

How is it possible to do 900 h / s?

Thanks
Almir Fiorio

Read carefuly, he said a few post above that most of the shares were stales, making his 1100H/s not effective at all.

You can increase your hashrate a bit by overclocking the memory and modifying your bios.
Simple copy of your 1500 mem strap on the 1625/1750/2000 mem straps should increase your hashrate a bit.
If you want a bigger increase of your hashrate (up to 900 as xneoenx pointed out), you need custom mem strap which are much more complicated to figure out. As far as i know, these aren't being shared for free atm.

You need to be more specific here:
How did you modify your BIOS, what memory is on your GPU (Hynix/Elpida/Samsung)?
What are your other settings aside of mem clock (core clock, core voltage, mem voltage) ?
My rig is running at an average of 725 H/s/card (lowest card ~690H/s, fastest ~760H/s) so i can't help you much if your target is to increase the hashrate to 900 H/s :p

Yeah I get less than 500 with my fury on claymore.  use another xmr miner, you'll get around 800.  But its mining Zec anyway.  I havent played with it for xmr, but i'm quite positive it can do more.  I wonder if w0lf has a fury.  There are private miners out there too.

nice !  Care to share some juicy numbers for the fury ?  Would be fun to know what you can get out of them.

I honestly haven't tried that hard due to their power use. Might be fun later, though.

I also wonder what can you get out from them.

I am currently running 2 x R9 Fury Trixx & on Claymore  Grin

-a 2 mode (low power mode) @ default clocks / no mods each do about ~816 h/s

1632 h/s total, pulling 274 Watts @ the wall. (Mother board pulls ~42w, So each fury is pulling little less than 120watts @ the wall.)

I also run a Fury X on my gaming machine, even with the extra shaders doesn't seem to increase the hash rate.. (but more power consumption)

I got 880h/s with a fury-x gpu@1125mhz with claymore 9.6. Try with -h 1024. Driver between 15.12 and 16.11

Hey Claymore, do you plan to implement assembler features to the rest of your miners, and when [Smiley]?

I had a lot of problems trying to run sgminer-gm so I stuck to claymore.

I have 2 win 7 x64 rigs with 15.12 drivers, and both rigs are mostly 290s or 290Xs, but each rig also has 1 380 on it. I think sgminer-gm didn't like either the 15.12 drivers or the fact that I didn't have all the same GPUs on each rig. Claymore "just works".

Sgminer-gm seems to require quite a bit of skill in setting different parameters and I found it confusing and read conflicting information about how best to define the parameters.

If I could spend more time learning to use sgminer-gm I would love to try it but as I said - I found it difficult to set up correctly.

Do you have any suggestions about where to learn how to use sgminer-gm properly?

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

You assumption about 15.12 is correct.  Use AMD drivers 16.9.2 or higher.
The following works for 380x:

set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
set GPU_MAX_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
set GPU_MAX_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

sgminer -k cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://monerohash.com:7777 -u ADDRESS -p x --rawintensity 512 -w 4 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1040 --gpu-memclock 1625 --auto-fan --temp-target 80 --no-submit-stale --no-extranonce

With my modded 380x I get 730 h/s.  Can't speak for 290.  But for 280x:--rawintensity 896 -w 8 -g 1 --gpu-engine 1070 --gpu-memclock 1550

Both yields better than the CM miner.  Sorry, Claymore, I've always used your miners but you've been passed up.

Hi Claymore...

A humble request.

Can you get the v9.7 ported to Linux?

Thanks
