She was early buyer of Aeon (whole life savings) and made quite a large amount of money in 2017/2018 selling to start a business. She did try to strengthen the community with her charisma and knowledge of blockchains however the rebase pushed many people to create their own projects (TRTL, ARQMA, WOW, MSR, LOKI, and many more).

for aeon community releases, there is an error however for the linux GUI, where clicking leads to download the windows version.

The community saw her as a glorified idol, like a cult leader in some way.

I think she is just herself and the cult moved on for the most part. I really do not know what she did for Aeon other than promote it here and there. Maybe she did more I do not know.

Since Aeon isn't promoted daily by community-funded promoters, this is a waste of time for 99% of cryptonote projects.
I am still amazed at the hundreds of thousands of dollars people give every year to keep the Monero hype train going. Monero works great, it doesn't need all that. Just keep it up to date and patch issues as they arise.

There is NO scratchpad any more. K12 should verify headers extremely quickly and efficiently even on a low-power mobile device, which means you should at least be able to sync to the chain essentially instantly and, theoretically, implement something like a mobile SPV wallet

The details of such a wallet would likely be slightly different than Bitcoin-like SPV, but conceptually similar, with the ability to sync almost instantly, and transact without needing a remote node and without needing the whole chain on the device at all.

Aeon POW k12, was that changed for the chain hash validation or something?

I recall discussing using k12 for this way back prior to v0.13 for for this sole reason.

Yes proof of work and chain validation is done using K12. It is ASIC-friendly (though, as noted in State of AEON, it appears that most mining is done with FPGAs now) and very fast to verify. It doesn't use a scratchpad the way memory hard ASIC-resistant PoW algorithms do.

Looks like by napkin math a decent basic ASIC would hash 550-700Gh on 200-300w when compared to a blake256 (decred) ASIC.
