AEON was one of the coins that was quite good in its time where the price increase was quite high and many investors were lucky, if this platform will be upgraded hopefully it can make EAON much better.

Down quite a lot since its All-time High. The project is also in a new place as well. Since the last tagged release of Aeon v0.12.9.0 there have been 229 commits to 539 changed files with 13,653 additions and 4,795 deletions to create the v0.13.0.0 release. So many community additions. The price was only $9 because of hype and overall market enthusiasm towards crypto in general. Aeon is 10 times was it was in January 2018. Yes, many people left the community that could have done for Aeon what they did for their own projects and make it a true top 50 coin. Instead, there are now 20+ projects that have not really become top 50 coins. So many people struggling to do the same thing. We shall see what happens in the coming months. Not worrying on constantly forking to make small miners happy is a big step forward to the big boys land of crypto. Time to focus on the good stuff that adds great value to any project.

I think the coingecko dev rating is actually based on some metrics about commits, issues, etc. from GitHub. At least that's what it was a few years ago.

He was not interested in updating per our prior conversation as he believed that the original philosophy was more geared towards his views. Maybe he will change his mind but I believe he is disconnected from crypto in general right now.

It must be correct, with the code refactor and other development work done on Aeon and this new coming hard fork. We are very undervalued, we should be more than 10% of Monero's price!

Aletheia (0.13.0.0)

This mandatory release improves the long term stability, sustainability, decentralization, and performance of the blockchain by removing the ASIC-resistant PoW (which requires frequent forking in an arms race with ASIC-developers) and replacing it with the much faster-to-verify and ASIC-friendly (currently FPGA-friendly) Keccak-based KangarooTwelve (K12) algorithm. The use of K12 for PoW was reviewed and approved by the Keccak-team, developers of Keccak/SHA3.

The mainnet fork date is scheduled on October 25 (height 1146200)

Enerc has sort of been on the DL the past few months. He has his github repo but I was unable to package an aPk with the latest CLI binaries. Unsure what he did to get it to work but it’s also been 3 mo since I tried.
