Are the 4000 stakes being reduced inline with the number of socks taken out? Or do the devs/marketing/bounties etc. just keep more of the stakes (2433.5/4000)?

Just me being ignored then  Cheesy

The latter. And you can believe that everyone involved hates the fuck out of that.

wait a minute, your saying that the developers will be holding 60% of total NEM?Huh

The solution is to reduce  the number of  coins.  Give 25% to developers, hold  5% for people who might claim later, and 1 million each  for all legit users.

They will be holding whatever is left after extended redemption. Emphasis is on holding. They don't own it and in fact it's all going to be in funds that have a specific purpose. A huge chunk will be in a community led fund and of course it will also be used to ditribute NEM further through bounties and what not.
I don't like it either but it's not like there was much of a choice.

And plz don't say we should have burned it.

Socks kicked in this round: 386
Remaining stakeholders (including both AE and BTT): 1397
Remaining stakes: 1566.5 (remember, with AE)

Does this mean there are more stakes remaining than nem has actual stackholders?
Does this mean devs hold more than 51% of all nem to begin with?  Huh

Some of us are here to see a better distribution than Nxt has...
The only fair solution is to burn at least 70% of the remaining stakes and dont say you create even more silvercoins(ponzi).

Pay at least some serious amount to people for code reviewing like CfB.

Wasn't everyone allowed to have two stakes? I bought one for me and my brother, and now my account was kicked. I am very very confused.

I will pursue this legally if there won't be a change regarding my stake.

Kind regards,

contact patmaster with a genuine request to have your stake reinstated.. legal threats are completely and utterly pointless.. who are you going to prosecute? lol
I will contact him and hope for the best. I am sorry for the threat but I'm rather mad about this as I've been watching this thread daily for about a year now and now I get this.

Did I read it correctly:

We will not reveal the analysis details that led to eradication of almost 400 stakes.
We will not use a cryptographically provable way of sockpuppet mitigation.
We do not care about this PR disaster.

Very good, I'll wait for the analysis publication then.
