There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Now is the right time to buy XEM i think, whales are loading cheap coins at polo and stupid dumpers sell. Could not understand who stupid these guys are, they have already over 6 months to cashout with better prices  Grin
Some people may not want to use NXT to do the asset exchange as they have to learn how to install and use NXT client.
So I am expecting more dumping

Buy during the initial dump and establish buy and sell walls to keep trading in the channel you want it to be for accumulation.  Sheep panic and dump as walls are adjusted.

This is a standard trick when you ask a fudder for details. If he admits that the problem is not that serious as he posted - you win. If he keeps sticking to exact wording then you explain why all* nodes can't be shut down physically - you win.

Cryptsy is the largest altcoin exchange.
If we want nem to be spread widely and grow big, enlisting nem on cryptsy is indispensible.
Besides ordinary vote, we can also do 'paid vote' there with Cryptsy Point.
(1 cryptsy Point = 5 votes)
If you have traded there, you have cryptsy point.
It is useless, please spend it for vote. Cheesy
(Of course, I spent all my 84 cryptsy Point just ago.)

I agree use your cryptsy points to vote up NEM ...

I used all mine too Smiley

Go, go, go: http://blog.nem.io/nem-community-challenge/

I would prefer this payment processor:

https://www.coinpayments.net/

Then merchants could decide to accept NEM as payment.
Please feel free to contact them and ask for integration Smiley

We have already been in contact with them, but Coingateway seemed a better option. We are trying to find another solution for allowing merchants to accept NEM.

Please hurry and keep me in the loop. I am the owner of www.eyeboot.com, online electronics sales site and we would be happy to accept NEM ASAP.

Sounds great. Will let you know as soon as we have some news.

Hi, one question:

is it unsafe to do just local harvesting?

it is only unsafe if you got a virus on your computer.

Just out of curiosity (since I don't intend to develop third party apps for NEM) but I take it that the issues with JavaScript not supporting numbers higher than 9 billion were resolved? Or is the total number still less than 9 billion coins with the extra 0.00025 NEM per stake being paid for out of the devs' pockets?

One coin was sent from a dev account to the nemesis account to make it 8_999_999_999 coins after the nemesis block.

Is it possible to send something from Nemesis?

How do you bribe the client to vest coins?
I have reloaded the client and copied the wallet details back and my amount apears but nothing is vested. From what i have read. 10% is vested every 24hours.

Before update; Delegated Harvesting was active.

After update; Still active it says, but there is also a button "Start delegated harvesting". When I click on that; ERROR 699
Maximum number of harvesters allowed on server has been reached.

Solution: Should I choose another Node? How can I choose one?

Cool. Then there is no a point to keep the private key in secret. Is it published somewhere?

there's bug in display in ncc, it won't show your vested balance until it's over 10k (it's been repeated multiple times already)
See https://forum.ournem.com/technical-discussion/vested-balance-0-6-25-beta/msg15457/#msg15457
