Everybody please remember, when we coded namespaces/mosaic and released it on testnet, the xem price was just 1/4 of what it is today. So we were anticipating a price of $5-6 for a namespace.

Are people discussing ways to monetize a namespace?
Is the idea that we'll have a browser and surf these domains?

This list of registered names is great http://chain.nem.ninja/#/browse/
I see an Apple and a Google, but no Microsoft  Cheesy

Yes it will be interesting to see how namespaces will evolve overtime and what new ecosystems it brings.

There are also a lot of articles on techchrunch.jp , the only reason we are not at 500 right now is because all of that articles are in japanese and we do not have a japanese exchange yet.

It's great to see some proper volume on Poloniex in the last few days/weeks. Do we reckon it's down to the general alt pump or some proper interest?

Probably it's not just a pump. The news in the last few weeks created a pretty big hype around NEM so it's just normal that the price is rising

1/4? How about now? Wink

Good thing you guys are better at coding than guessing price movement!

Verification environment of the block chain Sakura Internet-like, offers free of charge from January 2016 with the cooperation of Tech bureau like until June.
This time we created a sample that can be used in the environment, we will try to introduce.

Private block chain of infrastructure products " mijin " is based on the open-source block chain foundation "nem".
Because was not yet published at the time of writing the reference of mijin of beta stage, we will continue to create flow based on the reference of nem.

Reference of the API of nem is here.
bob.nem.ninja/docs/

It should be noted that, when viewing the reference, please note that the port number is different. "7895" has been used in mijin.

^No clue what this means but it looks damn cool.

Just maybe this is one of the handful of alts where you should be pushing thoughts of BTC out of your mind. This is my last alt. Much as I'd love to gather some free coins I just can't bring myself to do it.

BTC has been the furthest thing from my mind since the days of Doge and NXT. It was blatantly obvious to me the market was trying alternatives to fill a void and i don't think people will realize the "Proof of Work" algorithms problems until the very last bagholder.

NEM's value in BTC (or in FIAT) is irrelevant for me, at least until it's potential is recognized and it's value is substantially greater than what we see now (Yes, more than 500) - at which point i'm sure the idea of cashing out will be redundant as NEM would prove to be a useful platform.

lol...just let us ignore microsoft  Tongue

given that MS is the only one of the big guys publicly playing with blockchain tech there is a deep irony to that omission. Plus it's really funny! LOL

oh nooooo! somebody just grabed it.
