After I deleted forked blockchain and everything except wallet.dat, synced perfectly. You could try this too.

repaired the wallet and have resynced but when i try to send the 495 recovered i get:

error: transaction rejected. This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet were already spent ...

any ideas ??
