i just put the new 0103 firmware on my s3s.. HWE% is higher then its ever been

The 0103 firmware is real lousy I am getting HW ERRORS now and never got them before even dropped it down to stock speed still NO GOOD just to many HW ERRORS way to go BITMAIN!!!!

Again this is the amount of hardware errors after Just two hours!!!!!!


With the DEC-19 Version the one with the so called mistake I never got any I am really starting to hate BITMAIN!!!!


why don't they make a miner that's pc controlled instead of having a built in controller and you can mine any coin with it!!!!

Or at least run cgminer on pc instead!!!!!

What happened between 12/16 to 12/19 to 01/03?  12/16 seems to be the best firmware update ever.  They should go back to that one.

What does it mean when your S3+ has a normal hash rate like 480 Gh/s, but your average is listed as 18 Gh/s? Going crazy over here...

Of the last 3 firmwares, the 12/16 seem to be the best.  I know they took it down, but it my early batch S3 up to 500G consistently.  I think I will go back to that one.  It was better than the 12/19.

This is a bug. Reboot from the web gui and check again

OK, I did that and it worked. So what you are telling me, you can't just power up a S3+ miner, you have to go in and reboot it from the web interface.  I find it surprising because this is the newest and greatest firmware. Is there a list of bugs somewhere? How is the average miner supposed to know all these things?

never tried the 12/16 one, but i have 12/19 and 01/03.
the 10/24 one seems best for me. the 12/19 was ok, lower rejects but also slightly lower hash avg but they lost connection every few hours, beeped and rebooted.

oh and for the very first time since i owned the s3s, on the 12/19 rom, i had a - on one of the chips.. that kept coming back after a reboot.

they dropped the s3 to 150$ but they are way overpriced...

so are the s5's

this makes me sad because i really like bitmain. The best value right now is the 3 spondoolies sp20's for 1495 w/free shipping.

Please bitmain lower prices so we can make more money

HW errors are way off the scale with JAN Firmware. I switched Back to the DEC-19 firmware now I have 0 HW errors !!!!!

There is something wrong with the JAN firmware thanks BITMAIN !!!!

burned one driver control two chips, how to turn off outside the chip on the board, so they do not interfere with the rest of the work. thank you.



control board can operate without damaging two BM1382. I would like to remove them, so I bought one S3 non-working board for half price. that it is necessary unsolder?

voltage doesnt seem to have much affect anymore on hwe like before
