Thanks for the excellent information Blank or 0000 or 0725? I think vdd disabled means all this is moot anyways but since i opt to keep my settings I wonder if I need to reset it to be fresh again.
This q is for people who have an s3 running good on latest fw. I have to underclock to 212 to stay under .01%

I have also updated the latest firmware, the thing that I do not understand, and one alone, why do not diminish the errors HW? I find the 596 errors 0.0189, do not think is normal, this with any firmware that I put

Lack of best share is not the pool's fault, it's the driver's. It doesn't calculate the share difficulty if it's coincidentally a power of 2 value at the pool.
That's interesting. I wonder why my S3 displays a best share while mining on slush but never displays one (i.e shows 0) when mining on ghash. It is the same S3, and I assume using the same driver .... or does cgminer change the driver change according to the pool you point it to? EDIT: Or is it that the difficulty at ghash is always a power of 2 value (not sure what that means ....) and at slush is never that? That's exactly what I said. Ghash only uses power of 2 difficulties - there is nothing wrong with choosing these, they just set off the (harmless, cosmetic) bug in the S3 driver by doing so which does not calculate the best share when it happens.

I found an older power supply which looks like it should work in a pinch for me on an S3... with a little modification. and I am currently in a pinch I want to check with you guys. Samlex America MODEL SEC 1223 INPUT: 120 VAC O0Hz 5.5A OUTPUT: 13.8 VDC 23A http://www.samlexamerica.com/documents/product-specs/SEC-1223_Samlex_Specifications.pdfI troubleshoot and work on things a lot but never claim to be an electrical engineer or close to it. Should I look for a resistor to bring it down? Or, I am not gonna find the right one between the floorboards. Can the S3 handle the 13.8? Anything I am missing? I am not worried about big enough wire. I have a plan for that with a 12 ga extension cord. Everything else is at work. I want to make sure I don't burn the house down. This is strictly temporary until I finish the 220. *NiNja Edit - Samlex America address on the power supply is 110-17 Fawcett Road Coquitlam, B.C. Canada V3K 6V2 Made in Taiwan

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function. Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

^^^ that thing does not have enough amperage to power two blades. Bitmain spec is nearly 14 Amps at 12 volts PER BLADE. The PSU, you link to, will MAX OUT at 23 Amps total.

Is the heatsink hole spacing compatible between the S1/S3 and the S5?
I would also like to know this - can anyone confirm? Thanks.

Bitmain (or anyone working for Bitmain) - I returned 2 of my DOA miners and requested new ones be sent to me. Can you please confirm the 2 miners that were sent back to me from my return are new ones. I really lost a lot of time mining (A full month already on two S3+ miners!!!) doing the UPS value shipping labels that took a full 2 weeks, and refurbished miners would not be good at this late stage of the game. Can you please confirm that the 2 miners I was sent were brand new as I was promised?I am concerned because you were going to let me know, but never responded to my request to let me know what was send out.

Got me S5 Today These are the results I am afraid to overclock it. Evga supernova 1300 watt miners running on it ONE S5 and one S4 pulling 985 watts from wall on my kilowatt meter. I just cant seem to program a static IP when I try to log in to the new STATIC ip it says PAGE NOT FOUND like its not finding the web UI Also what is that little black button do by the SD card slot and can you put a SD card in it I don't know just got it that's why I am wondering ?? Man the fan is real load to load its sounds like the miner is ready for takeoff like a boing 747 starting up!!!! Also cant put S3 fans on it either fan cable to short if I get an extender will it work they look way different ?

Market will be closed when the maintenance fee equals to the mining revenue. And then terminate service after reserving the hardware for 10 days
Due to the aging of actual miners, the quality and hashrate of miners delivered to users are not guaranteed
Sounds like a sweet deal

You can get a quasi static IP by setting that device to always use the same IP via your router. Its like fixed DHCP. SD card slot on an S3? If you mean S5, I don't see what button you're referring to. The SD card slot is not used.

its ok, with the dropping price of bitcoin, these larger mining companies are going to pull the plug soon. this will drop difficulty and let the smaller home miners make more bitcoin.

Sounds like a sweet deal it might not be such a bad deal. basically unlike cloud hash where you purchase ghs directly, they are offering to plug in YOUR s4 that you purchase (used i assume) and direct it to the pool with your username. they cant guarantee hash rate, because each s4 is slightly different. altho it looks like if your used s4 fails in their possession, they will replace it. it also looks like when the fee is higher then the payout, they offer to mail it to you. which unfortunately probably wont take very long.
