Just did a UPS track by reference for my Batch 8 S3+ and it shows a Friday delivery date. Haven't received the bitmain email yet but it has shipped.
How do you do that? Go to your order page and copy your bitmain order number. Go to UPS and click track by reference and put your order number in with Country and zip and if it has been shipped it will show it.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

My newest S3 does not connect to any pools I try to configure
The pools(btcguild, slush) I enter under 'miner configuration' don't work but the factory ones do (ie 58.250.173.48, user antminer1, pass 123). I tried resetting everything to factory settings and resetting the router, but they still consider the pools 'dead'.
I'm gonna try resetting and organizing my whole setup (two working S3s and this one) tomorrow but I was wondering why it considers these pools dead? Its hashing and everything, just can't connect to pools.
Edit: For some reason it just started working. Beats me, I guess I just wasn't patient enough

I can't wait to see how the stock freq performance as well as OC, I have some B1's that struggle to keep 410 to 430 GH @ default freq. I'll post results Friday.

I have one of batch 1 that does 410-418 Gh at default mhz. Did you try new cgminer on underperformers?

I flashed 2 ant S3's with the latest firmware antMiner_S320140826; after flashing they both started hashing at around 100GH/s. Went back to antMiner_S320140721 which works fine (~440GH/s).

You *must* choose a frequency in the Advanced Options of the Miner Configuration, otherwise it will default to 100GH/s. If you forget that step, you'll get only 100GH/s and you'll show no frequency in that column on the Miner Status page. You're not the only one - this has been discussed here since about the time that the second-to-last firmware update was posted. ;-)

I would update to the most recent version, uncheck the box to keep settings, then apply cgminer using the following:
Would checking the box to keep settings do something undesirable? I left them checked (default) when I flashed my units and I haven't noticed anything unusual yet. Am I missing something?

I also noticed the load average is way lower on the CPU now that it was. was always above 2 before. now hovers around 1.2. any additional benefit to these devices to run with lower/higher loads?
That's likely the advantage of the newer version. In principle it will lead to less lag time in keeping the device busy and less time to process and send shares. However cgminer is so heavily multithreaded that it probably won't matter since the latency critical parts of the cgminer code are already prioritised. You are the MAN... Thank you, ZiG

A noob curiousity.
A few in here keeps talking about CPU load. I suppose they're referring to the series of numbers next to the "Load:" label on the upper left hand corner of the S3's web GUI. How is the load percentage derived from these series of numbers (i.e. Load: 1.31 1.40 1.36)?
