SOoooooooooooo, anyone fix their goddamn syncing problems?
Yep How? Well there are a few spots where it seems to get stuck. One was because checkproofofstake wasn't going through. Still working on some of the others. Well i kinda need a fix of some sorts, cos even reinstalling the wallet still doesnt sync... No worries, these are all quick fixes that I will have out on the new wallet. Obviously I wasn't dev for TRK, so didn't publish any changes to their wallet.

Yeah I just closed the wallet and reopened it each time it got stuck (about 6-7 times) Thanks god for small blockchains if this had been a year old coin I'd have quit Soo I now have a nice wallet full of fresh 1600TRK blocks - Just to confirm I can kill the client copy the wallet.dat to another location and await the release of your new toy? Once new toy is delivered copy the wallet.dat into appropriate folder and enjoy the HYPE After the fork ~8:30 pm TRK and HYPE become two separate entities in two different wallets

OK IT FINALLY SYNCED!
WHAT DO I DO NOW TO PREPARE FOR HYP? Divide your coins in block of 1600 HYP to optimise reward. If you have a lot of HYP, this means a lot of addresses, I know.See below. One address, several blocks.

Guys I am not a techie at all and I got my 9.5k truck on allcoin can I just wait till HYPER is launched and switch them over in the exchange ask for them to be switched over? I am so technically impaired lol..all I know is to download and extract and open wallets, that's about as much as I can manage.

Thanks for that - I was afraid I'd have to send all my coins back-forth between wallets to get them to different addresses. Can you confirm if there's an optimal number of coins, per wallet? Or doesn't it matter?

Not that I am aware You are basically trying to make sure any individual block POS reward does not go over the maximum - you can only get one reward at a time hence 1600 any other mature blocks will add to your weight but are rewarded individually as they solve for POS in turn

Thanks for that - I was afraid I'd have to send all my coins back-forth between wallets to get them to different addresses. Can you confirm if there's an optimal number of coins, per wallet? Or doesn't it matter? Not per wallet - per block, and that number is just about 1600 coins. here is a quick qriteup I did for NOBL that might help Does this mean I need to run ten different wallets with 100,000 NOBL in each? No, this is a common misunderstanding of how staking and the wallet works. A wallet can hold as many blocks of coins as you want it to, there is no reason to use separate wallets to maximize reward. What if I still think that I can get around the maximum subsidy by using multiple wallets? If you still aren’t convinced, then let me ask you this: what is the difference between having one wallet with ten blocks of 100,000 NOBL that are ten days old and having 10 wallets each with 1 block of 100,000 NOBL that is ten days old? In both cases you have the same stake weight. In the first case you only keep track of one wallet on one machine and in the second case you have to struggle to keep track of what is going on with multiple machines. Let me emphasize this: in both cases you have the same stake weight and therefore the exact same probability of being selected to stake. Alright I understand how it works, but what is the point if I can still get full interest? There are multiple reasons to add a maximum subsidy.

Or else they may be trk forever.

So for clarification I had ~17,320 TRK coins in my wallet. I sent all of them to Bittrex. Once confirmed, I sent 1600 coins at a time back to my TRK wallet on my computer until all coins had been sent. So basically I had 11 sent transactions on Bittrex and 11 received transactions into my TRK wallet (10-1600, and 1-1320). Hopefully this will help explain it. Looking forward to the fun!

That works fine, but you really don't need the bittrex step. It would have been fine to send them from your wallet to your wallet... sending them to your own address does work fine.
