Hi guys, I've assured the guys that I will be active on the thread and making sure everyone is kept up to date with day to day developments. It's when that line of communication dries up that people start panicking in the streets so I'm just going to do my best to make sure that doesn't happen.

sorry to disappoint you armin but I am a female Smiley

Wellcome to the community, Foxi! And good luck!

Thanks Biomech, Is it safe to use now to deposit in? Or would it be best to wait?

Better to wait right now. Once a bunch of people start staking, the coin will move faster. I'd give it till monday at least.

Thanks for your help i really appreciate it

Community Update

Logo submissions are still ongoing.
The blockchain is still moving slowly whilst we wait for coins to mature.
You are not stuck, 33229 is the current block, stakes are expected after the weekend and this will hopefully speed things up.
Please continue to be patient guys and remember that HYP is an experimental project!
An updated wallet with nodes and blockchain is available on the OP.
Armin is hard at work on a website http://cryptostakehouse.com/ thanks Armin!
A hard fork to counteract current issues is on the table for discussion, your views are welcome.
We currently hold the most 24 hour volume on Coin Swap and hit an ATH. Well done guys Smiley

I think right now we're going to focus on getting the chain and fork issues sorted then go to work on social media outlets. Twitter has already come up. David has already established a subreddit for us though and it would be awesome to get more people subscribed and active there till we move forward with other things.

Well If I am counting correctly my blocks should be staking. They are from 7/2/14. I am surprised they have not staked yet.

I have some from that day also, so maybe today we both stake a bit...

I would think so. Yesterday was day 9. I guess we will see. It has been open for about an hour or so and still nothing. Huh last time my blocks hit maturity they all staked right as i opened it.

If i understand correctly, you would get extra % of stake, or am i wrong as it's only for TEK

I am not 100% sure what you are asking but I will give it a try. I will get a higher payment (%) the longer I wait up until max coin age. However you will end up getting a smaller compounding interest. If you took out compounding interest we would all equal out to the 750%. If you stake more often you will get more compounding interest. Hope this answers your questions.

It is the same.

tom14cat14 Just keep your wallet open.  Do you know the exact time date that your blocks are from?

Alright everyone, I'll release the latest build of the wallet now - v1.0.1 - I was going to wait until the new logo was chosen, but I think the syncing icon and the weight icon have been too confusing to a lot of people so the fix should be released now. v.1.1 will probably come out in a few days with new logo etc, and will only have minor code changes.

Code:
- Port change to 18777 so it can run side by side with TRK
- Fix minting icon and calcs to be more accurate
- Fix syncing icon to have no time requirement
- add moneysupply rpc command (preliminary)
- Add weight in coin control
- Misc minor GUI changes to coin control

Thank YOU!!!  Smiley

I have 3 blocks with weight, one has 4853 and the other two have 1698

I should be staking any time now, right?  The Stakeulator says 7 seconds.  What would prevent me from generating a block?

This might be a dumb question but when i download the new file it does not have a new QT just data files and such. The QT is a separate downland but when I download it it only lets me run it.

And for those for prefer (or need) to compile their update:
Quote
cd ~/cryptos/HyperStake && git pull && qmake-qt4 HyperStake-qt.pro && make

Provided the compiling code was:
Code:
mkdir -p ~/cryptos && cd ~/cryptos && rm -rf HyperStake && git clone git://github.com/presstab/HyperStake && cd HyperStake && qmake-qt4 HyperStake-qt.pro && make && ln -s ~/cryptos/HyperStake/HyperStake-qt ~/Desktop/HYPR

Monero: the first crytocurrency to bring bank secrecy and net neutrality to the blockchain.HyperStake: pushing the limits of staking.

This might be a dumb response but what else do you want the qt exe to do?
