Oh boy, time for the uphill battle. If HYP reaches 5 cents, I think that would be a huge milestone. Realistically, I don't see it going any higer than that with the contiuing increasing coin supply and downward pressure. Does anyone think otherwise?
From my point of view about the recent rise . Rise is good for attract new peoples into Hyp ,now i think every polo user know it . The most important for us is the stability and having a decent volume ( market ). keeping a price affordable is better than having a big pump then dump and buyers move to another coin. 4k to 5K seems to be a floor price and everyone can take an advantage of this price , we don't need to have a higher price at alla strong and solid community is already in place and none of the big holders have dumped there Hyp, the opposite is happening, some of them want to buy more being on polo is nice, it's like hyponiex is belong to Us ! so i hope it's clear to everyone, a higher price is dangerous for Hyp , stability is the main word ! The next days will be interesting to see how the market react to that new polo baby ! keep staking and don't ask to much to Hyp , for now this is already perfect, presstab works hard like the others members of the team. we don't need more pressure, we just need to order Pizza with our Hyp !! That was me feelings about it and a little word : "treat well Hyp and Hyp will treat you well"

Realistically, I don't see it going any higer than that with the contiuing increasing coin supply and downward pressure. Does anyone think otherwise? Hyperstake is not on Bittrex; Btc-e; bitc38, cryptsy, Kraken (and was not on Mintpal neither)... So a lot of persons do not know about it. Thus, room to grow. I agree with waxo. The most important thing that happened today is that we got a sustained high volume on Poloniex. Volume means people can be confident about buying and selling without to high a volatility. With HYP, you don't make money by pumping, you making money by holding and selling (part of) you stake, keeping the principal. Stake and Cash. And if you are not confident in BTC price or just need this money fast, you can sell straight for dollars with XUSD.

I agree, volume and stability is the most important aspect. If so, the market would become liquid enough for holders to sell some of their stake and liquidate, brining more interest into this coin. For now, I'll be staking

Excellent, with HYP nearing $10k 24 H volume according to CMC, I think next goal should be just maintain this level of volume.

I think most ppl that are into high POS coins know that a stable price is more important then regular pump and dumps. While BTC and other alt coins took a little plunge, HYP and other high POS coins staid very stable.

I've been with TEK for a long time and HYP since it started. In both cases, the level of FUD and stupidity is much lower than a lot of the competition. It's actually one of the reasons I was initially liked TEK and HBN, the communities were less full of nutjobs and seemed to be at least marginally aware of economic theory.

Sorry, I just had to.... it made me chuckle when the typo fixer makes a typo in the same post. You made the same clerical error when you corrected my "loose" last time. At least it put a smile on my face this Friday morning. :-)

It's possible that a block of 800 may get lucky and be the chosen block to receive a stake, although if you could get your hands on another 400 or so coins quickly, I personally would merge into at least a 1200 block and leave the wallet open 24/7 and wait for stake

No one with sync problems? I have installed the new wallet (1.0.6). I have tried these peers http://hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/peerinfo but nothing. The wallet always gets stuck at block 97412. Can someone post a good peers.dat or a copy of the current blockchain? Thanks.

Try out latest beta release, it helps when the chain gets stuck by telling it to resend "getblocks" every ten seconds of inactivity. https://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.0.6.5If that doesn't work you can also try the bootstrap from the OP. Let me know how it works out for you.
