Viacoin broke out today, when Cloakcoin did the same thing it advanced to 1.618 Fib pretty fast.

I would be stupid to sell out now then huh?  Was thinking about buying cloak instead....  Heard it might blow up soon, but I dont know what to do =/  Now seems like a good time to buy in to cloaks.

Your call, but for myself I am waiting for Cloakcoin to make a new ATH before buying. Based on chart action I think the smart move is to buy more VIA at the moment.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

I've got about 4180 via, and 1099 cloak.  That is about 50/50 for me.  I can see big profit margins for both of those in the future.  Cloak is a bit uncertain for me at the moment, but they just released a new wallet, so might bring it more action in the next day or two.        I'm scared to go all in on something because I don't want to lose out on either.  Prob less profit margin this way, but less risk as well...  Hope I am a happy man in the next week or two Cheesy

How come there is no staking?

P.S.  The start of my Via wallet begins with Via (ViAtfSxu7HWX4qS7YLNiCc6ggrnX4T1HTA)   Has to be a sign from God right? HEHEHE Tongue

Howcome there is no proof of stake?

This coin/platform is more than a Bittrex PnD special? Excellent long term design.

entered this, via mining 2 days ago and small purchase, will be lucky to crawl to 100 VIA

this an extremely hard coin to mine, I mean common' " We are on the proper fork - Block maturation is 3600 blocks, about 24 hours. Please be patient for your confirmed coins."

but anyways, you have to have lots of electricity and patience of a saint, obviously this was done on purpose and some big brains behind the operation

I don't claim but saying if your rig does not pull decent MHS then purchase is really to be considered as an option, scrypt aint helping as massive asic has been deployed I see 250 MHS ?

but team and brain here tried to prevent consolidation I see in the blog, hope is that coin is worth 100$ one day and 100 VIC will look much better then (but the 250 MHS whale might prevent it although, coin spec might fight him back, it is one really good spec, an ethereum on cheap

 Cool

the fact its hard to mine is one of the main reasons the price stays stable and goes up  Grin

Hello Viacoin-holders. Like others here, I was drawn into Viacoin due to the Peter Todd hiring news (and talk about a bargain, at $50/hour, Peter kind of sold himself short in my opinion).
But I'm struggling in understanding Viacoin's services set out in this roadmap (http://blog.viacoin.org/2014/07/11/the-story-of-viacoin.html).
What services does Viacoin plan on offering? Is Clearinghouse basically a party-to-party escrow-type service whereby users must use XCH to setup contracts? And what kind of contracts are we talking here? Lastly how do treechains fit into this?
JL

I own a DASH Masternode.... And you should too.
