So, when will XCH start trading on BTER?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Deagle, please read my reply below to ChompZ and try the test Clearwallet or explore the possibilities by looking at the transactions in http://xch.blockscan.com/default.aspxChompyZ, Since we don't have a rich list yet. I checked the outstanding coin supply in the block explorer and then subtract the number of coins still unmoved (there's a date stamp) in the ICO wallets and then subtract again the number of viacoins in the burn address. Simple, yes? So basically, traders are just playing with some 7.7m coins in all exchanges. To make it cheap, they induce dumps. Soon by mid-Sept, lesser number of Viacoins will be on the market because smart people will exchange them to XCH - where the "wow" features are really are. Viacoin is Bitcoin, Counterparty is Clearinghouse. As of this writing, 1 XCH is about 361 satoshis. For reference, Dogeparty (another Counterparty clone) is currently valued at 24,000 satoshis and 1 XCP is 295,000 satoshis. So, I'm telling you to remember the ICO days when we are wishing no one will invest in Viacoin so the price stays below 1,000 satoshis and then the last three days, it shot up to 6,100 satoshis. This will happen again with Via and Clearinghouse, because 361 sats for one XCH is too cheap. |

Nothing wrong with the current cheap price, it's still very profitable to invest in VIA right now. converted on very cheap BTC to VIA, only 3.8 VIA .. but hey.. it was free give away asic  targeting 300 VIA, considering mining but have rig tied up in other fascinating coins at the moment, but VIA is great for long term.. |

Behind the scenes quite a bit going on. We'll likely see some announcements coming soon. And for those who know much about the core dev and how he operates, he will likely deliver much more than people expect as he has consistently done in the past. A focus on debugging happening on ClearingHouse at the moment. In addition, I had a good chat with Btcdrak, he seems confident confirmation times on Viacoin will actually be reduced even further in the future (from the 24 seconds where it's at now which is already 25x faster than BTC as is). Anyway, some general info for those looking to hear what's happening.
