Now it's at 614,833. http://explorer.viacoin.org/address/Via2XCHoqQxACVuXf4vrajVDJetwVgxLMzI'm looking forward to seeing what Btcdrak delivers. If we want Viacoin and XCH to stand out, Btcdrak will need to be able to hire the best possible developers he can find. Not only do I think XCH will have value, but each purchase will also contribute to him being able to afford that much better of talent. Hopefully all of them at the level of Peter Todd.

I put in a chunk into XCH, like the minimum I knew I wanted to convert. Figure there's value (with the discount) doing it sooner than later. Still deciding on the rest.

due to falling BTC prices (multi pools are going mad with arbitrage its what they do the best) I managed to scramble additional +43 on the cheap total of 243.12582231 VIA maybe I will reach 1000 VIA on the low gas. Otherwise all is peachy, couldn't be more happy with the performance and direction of this coin Might be good strategy, wait for a major fall, then scoop low amounts daily, no get rich quick scheme for me as I am here for a the looooooong haul It was between 17 approx VIA or 20 Cloak .. (~ 0.005 BTC) tough one cause Cloak is engineering sound.. maybe next time Have a great Sunday!

600k+ via for xch that's insane, i bet btcdrak wasn't expecting so much.
the more via burned for xch the less value or roi xch will give. at the moment im very bullish on viacoin's price rather than xch.
also if btcdrak tell us if he is going to be holding on to the viacoin and pay for the development as it without dumping. This will give a nice 2-3x rise for sure. if the other way around, he dumps via for btc or usd and pays that for his development then we will still see viacoin slow rise during this 45days of burn. and near the end we could see a drop anticipating on btcdrak's dump.
just my thoughts from experience. but I could also be totally off, I have only been in crypto for 8months.

Has btcdrak shown the address the "burned" second viacoin IPO has gone to? I'd like to monitor this address and see if after the burn process how the Viacoins are used- i.e not all dumped.

So who dumped their via and bought sys? lol...i bought into that train wreck and glad i'm out. what a nightmare. and the experience between the two coin launches couldn't have been any more different - the difference between night and day. we might get the BTCs flowing back into VIA from the SYS debacle.

syscoin is down over 90%
But at the current price of via, I wish I could buy more. I already have 2 BTC in via and I'm worried to dump more into it now. But the price is very attractive.

Based on Twitter chats, there are at least two whales (well-known in Twitter circles) who dumped around 400k coins from the price of 70K, which is partly why the current price is hovering at 29k. It seems they are planning to re-buy, I don't know if they'll do it subtlety or by buy support. So you better move fast before the price rises again.

I couldn't find any VIA backgrounds for desktop or phones. If I missed them, feel free to point them out. That being said, I felt like making some up. Nothing fancy. Just using what was available. http://imgur.com/a/FzpvK

Yes, night and day. One coin was nothing but a litecoin scrypt clone at launch (sure glad nothing went wrong with launching that, seeing as how scrypt clones have been launched countless times now) and the other was something new at launch. Same reason crypti is struggling at launch, because they actually incorporated new code and functions at launch... If SYS could have launched a vanilla scrypt coin at first, and then added the other functions only as they became 100% ready (similar to how drak added clearninghouse only after it was 100% ready) then the launch probably would not have been as much of a mess. This is probably what they should have done.

This is how you try to defend their, well, a bit mismanaged launch? Multiple errors in wallets, transactions don't confirm, forks, problems not solved after almost 2 days. Some people already trading in exchanges and dumping their coins, other people stuck with their wallets. Sys is not 2.0 coin. Because Sys is not even 1.0 coin. It was launched as 0.0 coin. Sorry I posted here but I didn't want to let it pass.
