So  jetWin keeps balances in fiat currencies, but they are not a fiat sportsbook.
Ok, got it  Grin
This is a lil misleading and would be interested in what method of conversion rate is used

Then again, Jetwin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355484.msg51568486#msg51568486
At least you are not bias against his skewed ratings  Tongue
Ratings or not, https://www.watfordfc.com/club/partners/official-sportsbetio-becomes-new-front-shirt-sponsor should be worth at least a F on peerps ratings  Grin

Edit:  Regarding jetWin, do you have a opinion on this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1482225.msg14937838#msg14937838
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Jetwin told me this in 2015 about their conversion rates.

They use Bitstamp's BID rate for deposits and withdrawals. If customer has selected currency other than USD, then the actual rate is calculated by applying current USD rate of The European Central Bank.

Now that Sportsbet accepts fiat currency, they will be delisted. This thread rates bitcoin only books.

Also,

It's also known that Jetwin keeps balances in many fiat currencies.

Jetwin accepts USD, Euros and Pounds.
Please correct me if these arent fiat.
peeps, I dont mind your skewed ratings I really dont.  But you sort of caught yourself double standardizing yourself here and its not fair to this bitcoin community.

As Darkstar pointed out, they don't accept fiat for deposits.

Oh ok so your going with what they told you 4 years ago.  This sounds confusing so I wanted to contact jetWin to clarify as a potential player :
https://www.jetwin.com/en-us/help/contact-us
They appear to be in America but see what happens when you google the phone number jetwin lists Grin Grin Grin  I will not post about it you can find yourself.

If you are just now discovering that sportsbet accepts fiat, maybe you are not qualified to dictate sportsbook ratings as you think you are

Also,

Steve - thanks for the update. I'll throw in some plays and do more research shortly.

From a D- to totally delisted lol
Could you make it any more obvious that you are anti-sportsbet?

The progression in currencies used by sportsbet has been followed from 2016 to 2018 when they first started taking Euros. It's also known that Jetwin keeps balances in many fiat currencies.

Since Sportsbet started with cryptos and had a presence here prior to accepting fiat currencies, their rating was kept up in this thread. Cryptocurrencies are accounting for less and less of sportsbet's business. Because of that, I think it's best to just put them in the fiat class.

There has been plenty of poster input on sportsbet that had a great influence on their rating. Here are some other reasons for their final rating.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.3020

"

1. Margins - The margins (odds) at Sportsbet are very high. It's almost impossible for a player to overcome that type of hold with vanilla lines.

2. Self exclusion - When a player asks for self-exclusion, Sportsbet steers the player towards taking a temporary ban.

3. Areezy - Under no circumstances should a book be able to cancel a futures play. Areezy has given me permission to look into his account. If there is something that is missing, please PM.

4. KYC/AML - There are rare cases where KYC may be required. Sportsbet is heavy handed on KYC and confiscated 21.5 BTC form a player of which 15 BTC was from his deposit.

5. Double spend claims - Sportsbet should wait for 1 confirmation if they are going to confiscate funds for an "accused" double spend attempt.

6. Communication - A PM was sent to all books asking if they banned players from the UK or US. Every book replied within a day except Sportsbet."

Ive already answered ^^this^^ in this very public forum and discussed this.. pretty disappointed this is brought up again.

We have moved on and listened to our customers. Our main currency it Bitcoin but when it reached 20,000USD  the other December, customers were screaming out for other methods of payments.
Its what we do, customer comes first. (also note, there are more fiat currencies on the way as thats what the feedback from our customer dictates)

We won't tolerate liars and cheaters, so a few of those may have fallen into the above categories.

I asked everyone to come back and check, I hope some did. Others just don't seem to want too.. thats ok too.

regards,
Steve.

If you want to add other methods of depositing when bitcoin is high then you go look for an altcoin not dollars. If you add fiat currency because of high price of bitcoin instead of adding ethereum or litecoin or even dogecoin if you must than you become a fiat sportsbook and get delisted, simple as that.

Even having the accounts show as fiat currency is acceptable, people may want to deposit altcoins or bitcoin and then have their balance shown in fiat which is fine to a point, even that should not happen but if you make that happen that could be acceptable.

However, making fiat a deposit option suddenly makes it a fiat sportsbook and to be honest this is bitcointalk not dollartalk so you get out of contention. This place is not biased towards anyone, look at the big A-B listed ones and try to see whats different from you and them to figure out why you were D- listed.

Betcoin.ag/PlayBetr.com/Coinbet.ag data breach from former programmer of the software provider. Even though the ex-employee was able to see balances, there wasn't a threat of losing funds. Sportsbooks are under constant attacks from hackers.

Statement from Betcoin
Quote
We deal with attempted breaches constantly and continue to improve our security each time. Everyone's funds are safe and passwords are encrypted (even we cannot view them). We recommend that everyone use 2FA, but unless someone has access to your email password, your account would not be in danger. Even if they did, we review all withdrawals for continuity, for example if there have been new logins or password changes. That said, this situation is being taken very seriously. OP did provide a player with a screenshot of his account info, but it was from February and we have no reason to believe that there has been any type of breach since then, however this is under intense scrutiny and a statement will be provided once that is complete. If anyone has any questions or concerns, feel free to post them here, send us a PM or a support ticket. All player funds are currently available for withdrawal, as always.

I think this only a prediction ranking. Because this post only depend on the operating year of every project.  I think it is better to make a ranking basis coming from accomplishnent and the project that many player or gamer are already played and continue to play about their site or project.  We don't need to look at the years, I think we need to look at the progresses and development.

How could you say the rating is based on the operating year? Look at the list carefully, there are some older sites with lower rating compared to younger sites. I believe Peeps Place give the rating based on the reality which is happening to the site as well as based on user's review in this forum. This thread does not suggest reader to choose sportsbook by its age, I have no complain about the rating listed on the OP as maybe I'll have similar rating if I have to rate all those sites.
