Ppl like you shouldn't be here. Don't try to create FUD/panic.
If my intention is to FUD, why would I post the confirmation email and offer my apology? I think I can invest in any coin I choose, don't you agree? Without associating this coin to MIT, it probably would not have a chance and dev knew that... Huge difference between ideas and an actual product. Syscoin had big ideas too and they fell flat on their faces.
Not only ideas but he's also one of the active developer for monero, fyi.

No, miners dump. 10 more days of agonizing dump will happen.

Nothing's changed really because Devs are a group of MIT students (hopefully possessing exceptional talent and vision). It doesn't need to be endorsed by MIT while they are enrolled just as Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook wasn't endorsed by Harvard. Ppl like you shouldn't be here. Don't try to create FUD/panic.

so you cause a load of unnecessary aggravation for the devs with their Uni where they trying to get degress. and now you 'expected more' and you are a newbie with 22 posts called Exciter. lol EDIT: sorry, I don't mean it's funny, and i'm sure its not a big issue for the devs. But they made the coin, we know they are for real and they said what they are working on and its nearly ready. You can't always have everything cut out for you perfectly, if its not for you don't take the risk, if you agree with the fundamentals, do and be patient. If you're claiming to be someone from a prominent school, do expect some doubts and criticism. Many investors have asked for verification but dev ignored them. Compare this project to another project being worked on by a grad student: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=169204.0You'd prob think tacotime came from MIT instead. i remember tacotime from somewhere long ago.. he was very helpful during the early days of bitcoin

Nope, that was miners selling coins. We're still in POW phase.

Could someone describe the process to get one of these drupal websites hosted at mit.edu? http://intellicoin.mit.edu/I'm most interested in who has access to creating one of these pages? Is is only available to certain people like student/faculty who have a valid ID card?

From what I can tell, we have the next Mark Zuckerberg here. It sounds like the beginning of the movie when zuck got his first facebook shut down by Harvard.
