Where are you located? I don't really need any hardware, I'm pretty efficient at building computers as I've been doing it since the early 90's with my first 386.  What else do you offer and what's your company name?

I believe he is offering you re-sale of equipment and set-up. Possibly 24/7 maintenance and support.

Installed the pair of AntMiner S3+s in a case at my office today.  Oddly, when I built it at home and turned it on, the power supply showed it was running idle at 78-79watts (network switch not connected), but at the office here after I powered it in (with network switch connected) is showing about 725watts which I thought it wouldn't do until I set it to mine.  Anyway, I hoped it wouldn't blow any fuses having a couple computers, printer, etc. plugged into the same socket and luckily it didn't.  So all is good so far.  Power supply shows it's running at 91% efficiency and in case temp is at 103F.

Now being a newbie, I've got to set up the rest.  Downloaded CGMiner 4.6.1 so tomorrow I'll start setting up the rest, but being absolutely new I hope it doesn't take long to get it up and running.

Nice case, i keep seeing these s3 in cases, what is that monitoring screen.

I don't see the point in putting the S3 in a case.  Its already in a case, it's not that loud, and heat isn't really an issue.

I bought a miner from these guys in Nov of 2013, a year later this is what they JUST sent me.  They are still collecting peoples money at this site http://amtminers.com/ We all have made complaints to the FTC, FBI and any other agency that would listen. They also send me this miner with "NO POWER SUPPLY", it was supposed to be an AMT miner, but what they send me was a "no name" knockoff. Believer it or not, many of us paid them $6,000 for this, and at the time of delivery they were selling them $899.  It is a VERY VERY high probability these guys are going away to jail for a VERY VERY long time. The miner also says it hashes at 1.28 Th/s in the mining interface, but the reality is its hashing at 900Gh/s on BTC Guild.

You were clearly see these were used and very dirty fans that squeak as well. They are three COMPLETELY different fans.  I would go as far to say, these fans are so dirty they must have been used in something other than a computer. The miner was also filthy with black soot all over it (as you can see), It's pretty scary.  The green fan you see in this photo, it just BARELY spins, its almost dead. Useless... The green fan is so slow because the "RPM Sense" white wire has been cut and that is why it doesn't work properly.... I guess I really got the naughty list special miner...

3 different brand fans, very dirty and used looking. The green one hardly pushes air because of the wire that was cut.

White wire cut right in the middle of the run. wires cut and then put heat shrink on them. Beyond a hack job...

mis-matched connectors, showing 3 pin and 4 pin. Different wiring, but were all in the same type of 4 pin socket. Surely not wired correctly. This is a hack job.

what the web interface says its hashing at (temps always this high on everyone' miner) also miner ALWAYS says 1.27 or 1.28, no matter what. Also the 256G on each card also doesn't move. It's obviously a fraud.

Seems like they've run the miner for as long as possible to get their money out of it before shipping - seems to be a common complaint with some of the companies who manufacture mining kit. Looks like a friday afternoon job to me.

have you tried fitting 3 reasonably high CFM fans in replacement of those dodgy 3? I wonder if theyre not moving enough air and the miners are being downclocked due to heat - also have you tried blowing through the system with an air compressor to shift any build up of dust?

This account was hacked & possibly sold during the period of August 1st and October 24th 2017.
Anything done or said in this period wasnt me.
Many thanks to Cyrus for his help restoring access to my account.

Yes, I will try to replace the fans. The Web interface is totally fake. I think some people will help to show the code is just a sham job!

well hopefully you can replace fans ...clean the beast up some and get what ever hash out of it that you can as your only option at this point

sorry about this I almost bought from these guys too....(no $$$ got a KNC NO ROI Titan) so even the folks that sell you equip like KNC pre-order

don't work..if I'm lucky I may get 1/3 of my 10k back (they are shipping them saying how well the Titan's work..although on knc forums no one has
managed to get them to work....)...NOT counting the electric of 135 usd a month to run the beast....live and learn I'm out of home mining now...
in your boat will just run the NO ROI Titan as long as possible....but took a bath too

anyway....feel your pain

new addition to the photo album Smiley

SP30 Oct. batch arrived at Mich-Colo this week. SP30 had PSU fault which required power cycle. All i had to do was go to Mich-Colo online chat to request reboot and it was done. Easy.

with Mich-Colo it's flat $350USD hosting fee per month per SP30 unit. not lock in contract.

with GekkoScience hosting it's $0.095 per kWh. say round $300usd per month for each SP30.
