I feel like that is effectively just two 2GB cards in one. Am I wrong? Someone should test it though... Smiley

I notice its hard to find any support for mining of UTC .

The UTC 'community' is not very friendly to or savvy on mining, I agree. Perhaps, the one-click miner could potentially turn that concept on it's head, but I envision Kracko will confusingly make a 10% mining fee for it...

Did you try my suggestion? Try making the buffer-size extremely low just to rule out a memory problem?

That is quite incorrect, Beav.  Ask politely and you'll get a much warmer welcome and several knowledgeable people willing to assist.

It isn't two cards.  "the card is built identical to the standard 2 GB model, but with double the GDDR5 memory amount".  It  could very well end up having a better price/performance ratio than the GTX970.

I was confused by the two fans on the new 750ti... interesting setup. Great find fredeq.

He is a miner and a potential investor... how polite should he be? It is better to help him out and then tell him to be nicer than to be passive aggressive and condescending.

You are a great coder, and you are doing incredible things for UTC and chacha. But I will continue to bust your balls as long as your mining pools have the highest inefficiency (fee + orphans) in all of crypto, just sayin. And I imagine, based your stubborn pride(?), it will be an eternity.

Fair enough.  I've actually given the orphan rate another look and I agree, it's been much higher than I like across all the pools this week.  Something happened recently, but I'm at a loss to explain it.  But, I'll see what I can do to alleviate it.

I must say though, I have no sympathy for those people who stay on utc.tumblingblock.com with a 13% orphan rate average in the last 7 days...

For like 2 hours I am trying to setup my 280X to mine UTC and it's a pain in the ass .

I tried all setups possible from Ultraminer or YACMiner

And ALL I GET is HW errors and Error -4: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue.

ULTRAMINER CFG 3

I even tried setups from this website : http://cfg.ultracoin.net

AND NOTHING . Is this coin minable ? Or only OP's are knowing how to mine ? :| What is this bs ?!

I don't know how this community expect support when they cannot give support on miners . It sucks .

What driver version you are using? Try older one 13.. something. Or buy Nvidia.. much easier.

"What is this bs ?! It sucks ." If you cannot ask nicely go mining something else ..

I notice its hard to find any support for mining of UTC .

Might be so.. .

I will allways help, but ask nicely. I sold all my Ati cards about 3 month ago, so not fresh memory. I was having same problem than you after I updated drivers to new ones to give support UTC multipool. (use DDU uninstaller) So old 13.xx could work with Yacminer. Win7 should work better than 8.

I was donating 1.5% before we had 3% fee. I will donate again if fee go away.

when the 1-click miner is working - I am happy to pay 3% on any UTC it makes for me

If it goes back to dev work then its just a multiplier of value in my opinion

Ahhhhhhh complain, complain and complain more .... Everyone thinks only of himself!

Everywhere you have to pay.
At your banking institution
With your credit card company
For your mortgage.
At your car dealer.

Everywhere you have to pay and give interest.

Please remember one thing:
The current management team does everything out of love and with motivation for UTC.
They had never received any financial interest at the start. NON! ZERO !

The current management team spent a lot of private time for developments for UTC.
Private time they could spend easily on something else but they did spent it on UTC.

In addition the management team spent a lot of private money to UTC.
Please listen carefully !
They spend private money to UTC !!!!
To make UTC better !
For you ! For me !  For all of us !

So what we are complaining about ?

Pool fees are necessary.
Just see it as a bank or as your mortgage !

The pool fees are there to break even with all the cost the management team pays everytime from their own pockets.

Stop whining and complaining.
Or please, please go away !

Hi Kracko

I was planning to hit the UTC TumblingBloc multipool with some SHA256 in a couple of days time for a test.

I note that there is no activity on the MultiPool.

http://multi.tumblingblock.com/

Is there a problem here - or is it just simply nobody mining Multipool?

Thanks - usukan

It was shut down before because of wallet maintenance at Cryptsy during the retarget transition.  No one came back after.  And we're in the same situation now- wallet maintenance.  The multipool depends on Cryptsy to have an operational UTC wallet to send UTC back to the pool for payouts.

Its strange that for no reason they suspended UTC wallet. There were no recent updates whatsoever but still the message says - reason - updating to last version bla bla bla . Can someone from the dev team shed some light on what is going on with that problem?

Yeah, there are much wallets on cryptsy in maintenance this time... But it takes a bit long now.
Has anyone more information about that?

Another IMHO important thing, who can update the website?

http://ultracoin.net/exchanges.html is *way* outdated. Wink

Please be patient with Cryptsy- we need them.  They take a awhile to do the upgrades.  Part of the process is going over the changes that have been made to the wallet since the last upgrade.  They have to be thorough as they are depending on our wallet and have a significant amount of UTC going through their system to protect.  We are in contact with them and have been answering questions when needed. And we will keep pinging them until they have the wallet back online.
