On the management scene, I have spoken to my friend Jim Blasko from Las Vegas, the creator of Unbreakablecoin. He is working on a project right now for a BTC radio station with another investor, he offered to have an Ultracoin plug on the radio station, as well as give away our t-shirts on the air, etc. He will also be helping collaborating with us to help create the final version of the new Ultracoin.net website (our previous web designer wen't MIA). Also, if you haven't checked out unbreakableauctions.com, you can actually buy and sell things using Ultracoin, just like eBay. If you want an Ultracoin t-shirt, you can also e-mail me at Steven@Ultracoin.net and I will send one out to you for $20 in UTC. I believe the next logical step is to get more money moving around in the Ultracoin side of the crypto economy. As more money is spent, users will be willing to refresh their coffers and buy more Ultracoin off the open market, not to mention spur more business interest in UTC. We were recently delisted from coinpayments.net, but I am paying $250 personally to re-instate us. We have a lot of shops that accept Ultracoin, but virtually little to no volume actually being spent to buy things. I will be paying another $250 in 90 days if we cannot raise our volume to at least 1 BTC per month. I believe that Coinpayments is very important to us both in our development and economically as a cryptocurrency. I will be making it a point to browse coinpayments for things to purchase, or look for things I would normally purchase on coinpayments and support shops that support Ultracoin, I encourage the community to do the same. I would also like to try and expand the types of shops that accept Ultracoin, is there any type of business that you would like to see accepting Ultracoin? What things would you like to buy using Ultracoin? I believe that if we can expand the amount of shops that accept Ultracoin and build a stronger economy, it will help grow Ultracoin and sustain us through our slow periods.

@funsponge

It is not to my knowledge that anyone on the team dumped. I just recently bought more Ultracoin as a matter of fact. Paul and Fabian are still on the management team.

Sincerely,

Steven "Rapture"
Management Director
Steven@Ultracoin.net

Steven you are correct !
I still have my UTC coins, i never dumped or sold any serious amount of it.
From time to time i only bought some stuff with UTC.
Like you i recently bought more UTC at higher prices.
I promised long time ago that i would not sell before UTC reaches a serious goal of 0,003... i know we have a long way to go till we reach that but UTC is still here and i believe one day we will reach that goal !
As far as i know also Fabietech did not dumped or sold any of his UTC.
So, we are still 100% bag holders and wait for better times

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Really great to hear! Thanks guys! I also still have never sold and don't plan to.

I just wondered about he huge dump as it coincided with a lack of contact from you guys and I knew you had a big bag of UTC.

Thanks for clearing it up and for the news Steven.

Recommend SETUP for 290 GPU. Those that offer a variety of sites give a lot of HW and lead to a deadlock. Thank you.

I liked the one plan put forward to lock the Nfactor at 15.  Is that still in consideration?  I have not liked mining at N16 for YAC, 2GB cards become completely useless.

I am also partial to the idea of an N-Factor stall, that would separate us from our competition and make us unique in the category of Scrypt-ChaCha coins.

Also, is anyone willing to trade an R9 290X, preferably a Sapphire Tri-X card, for it's equivalent value in Ultracoin or trade for two R9 280x's with aftermarket heatsinks?

AGREED, there is no reason to change the NFactor so fast, no one is developing ASICs for mining Chacha Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
The developers want the NFactor to change faster so they can make more UTC from staking.  Angry
Changing the NFactor once every year is enough.

Well, if you weren't aware, the ultracoin devs didn't choose this schedule, they simply copied it from YACoin, so blame "pocopoco" then Smiley

LoL, you are right,  Smiley
I was wondering why didn't they spread out the NFactor changes in lets say 5-6 years to go from 1 to 16.
Even if someone is making ASICs for Chacha, 1 or 2 changes per year would be enough to discourage him.

Given the inflation is so high and already nearly 30 million coins of dilution, I'm surprised to see how one cannot find a lot of coins for sale.  It's a good sign that someone is buying it all up and not many are selling.

Now if the devs can significantly reduce the subsidy [SOON] to slow down this huge inflation and also reduce the max cap to reduce the dilution, this coin would be ready to go.

Is this not Reggie's coin?

All I gotta say is, any coin that can afford to send a speaker to these Bitcoin events has either the deep pockets or the talent/expertise to make things happen.

That's the only thing that got me to notice and buy some ultracoin.
