Nice one Paul...

Could I just check, do we still have access to the Facebook account? I have just posted on there, but realize that very few people read or comment on non official postings. They might however read a post actually posted by someone official...perhaps it would  be useful to post on there from the Ultracoin team, regarding current situation, progress made, plans for the future etc, with a shout out for help - there are a few thousand folk signed up to this site, some of whom may be able to help.

Just a thought?

10 btc buy up will give us a marketcap of $1m. This will make me more active for sure. The higher the marketcap the more people are interested in their investment! The higher the marketcap the more people are willing to donate also. I had written my UTC off but now i see green roots Im reading this thread again. Great work buy the new guys! We need to get on a Chinese exchange! their volumes are insane!

Thanks for ideas Roister01,

To make some more clear....(also as extra info for Usukan).

We are the administrators of the UTC Bitcoin forum and the UTC Twitter account.
Usukan has the codes for acces to that accounts.

Also we have the administaror rights to www.ultracoin.net .
But it seems we have not the acces to the layout and content of to the website as it is on the web shown this moment.
This is still at property and under control by Stevan.
But if we found a webdevelopper who want to take this job we can change the website layout/content soon (if needed).

About the UTC facebook account, we lost the administor control.
We just noticed this the last week.
Fabietech is trying to contact Steven and asked him to give the administrators rights and codes, but unfurthunatly Steven still did dent answer til know...

Of course the other thing that may propel UTC and other ALTs over the next few months are the troubles with BTC - many are thinking its best to be out of BTC for a while because its likely to drop significantly.  People are looking for places to go to get out of BTC.

You need to be VERY CAREFUL when you make broad statements like that. Who are the "many" that think it's best to be out of BTC for a while because its likely to drop significantly? Who are the "people" looking for places to go to get out of BTC? Any articles or anything to support those statements? Will BTC drop significantly is anyone's guess but the fundamentals do not support either of your statements ATM.

You'll never know what you're living for until you know what you're willing to die for.
Never look back, something might be gaining on you.

Hi nanoprobe

Yes I have been on Reddit observing the squabbles over Core vs Classic - there are plenty of posts there and links to articles supporting my statements.  Of course I hope they get it all sorted soon with the blocksize issues because I agree that if its sorted the BTC fundamentals are good.

The Polo chat box (yes full of trolls) has also been discussing these issues.

Despite this - there has been a mass migration to ETH from BTC and that is born out by the rise in ETH price which I am sure you will appreciate has been quite startling over the last couple of weeks.

Some of the other ALTS are pumping - and some of this maybe concern over BTC.

As always - do your own research and form your own opinions.  I did - and these were my conclusions.

Cheers - usukan

Facebook would be handy - and it would save a lot of work if we can get the website files/access from Steven

Fingers crossed.

update on the UTC Dashboard/explorer.

press is finding a few quirks in our beloved UTC.  Hes still having troubles but getting closer step by step.  I would say its a cheap price we got for the work considering the extra mile he is going on this with UTC.

I have told him to take his time and make sure he's all happy and he gets it right.

An extra day or two is not going to make much difference in the end - as long as we get a shiny new one in the end.

Cheers - usukan

Good to see all the progress Smiley

@usukan maybe UTC can look into "pay as you use"/SaaS kind of services to target a market. Such services also require quick confs, maybe we can later in the year put up some kind of proof of concept service to show interested parties.

Good work with the explorer! Also presstab fixed the timewarp for MINT and Fuzzbawls is currently working on updating the "ancient" code for MINT. So we can maybe ask them to get UTC up and running when they are free or help the dev we hire.

My prediction for UTC price of 2000 satoshi is 26th May 2016 1500 UTC

utc.presstab.pw

pretty amazing IMO

can a few "spotters" check things out and report any issues so we can advise press for fixes

Few little issues - reported so far.
one address is not searchable (one of our current miners) http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/address.php?address=US5J9T8sC25opFJHdYkxET9GTZWUPM3JbN
variance in diff reporting between pages
Charts page links maybe not all functional

Overall most of the critical stuff is correct and its far more than a block explorer

note the "richlist"

Two top wallets hold 30% of UTC - but they are not staking (paper, offline or lost wallets?)

6 of the top 10 wallets are not staking

Top 10 wallets hold 57%

there is a lot of info to go through here on PressTab

I have sent "press" our gratitude for sticking with the problems (which were numerous) and coming up with the goods.  He has learnt a lot about UTC in this exercise - and what the issues are for a wallet/retarget fix.

Cheers - usukan

SaaS services added to the "vision" list for community consideration.

Personally I like it.

Well done Usukan, and rest of team, the work that presstab has done looks great, gives a more professional look to the coin! Just need to contact coinmarketcap to change the link now...Smiley

Would the big wallets not staking be coins held in accounts such as cryptsy/bittrex?

At least presstab now has an idea about the coin, hopefully make it a bit easier when he sorts retargetting etc out!

Hi Roister

Yes utc.presstab.pw looks great.  I am working through a few questions with press but overall its looking very damn good.

I have already advised Coinmarketcap - to change the block explorer link and update data from PressTab API so they get things like Coin Supply and market cap correct.  This may take a few days as they are pretty busy.

I suspect this one is Cryptsy

http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/UTC/address.php?address=UeBE6LHVhy1xN9Zshi8dfJswXqT5HJHUDr

Activity ties in roughly with when the Cryptsy wallet went offline for maintenance - and never came back.

It could be just someone who has not updated their wallet - but seems unlikely that someone with 6M UTC would not be motivated to update their wallet?

Hi Pugman

yes we have picked up this error - occurs in a handfull of addresses on the Richlist.

Richlist over-reports
The actual address search shows correct
I wont post your address (but I know which one it is) - do a search on the address and you will see the correct balance at 170k

The #2 address on the richlist has the same sort of error

press is looking into this now - and will fix it all up. We should have this and the other issues we have spotted fixed by end of next week because it requires some new code at the weekend and a full resync.

Sorry - Guess you were thinking this was your lucky day.

Cheers - usukan
