Why don't you just copy the .exe to the folder you want the plots to be generated in and run it from there?

Can anyone explain why ppl still mine BURST?
Is it profitable at all?

Not anymore now if you don't have already your HDD.

"We're mining cause when we hit Bittrex price will rise to 3k.
We're only on c-cex now, price is only 500 satoshi, we need more echangers."
This is what i have said 3 weeks ago. So wrong!  Sad

 Burst is already on Bittrex

It's not just about buying and exchanges - we need some actual application for the coin - games, shops, services and whatever else you can think of that accepts it as a payment method.

Did u look at the dev PLANS ?

Basic pool support (done)
Improved pool support (done)
Advanced transactions(escrow, subscription, reserve funds then transfer not yet known portion later)
BurstId authentication system
Allow linking BurstId to burst account for transfers with spending limits.
DHT for off-chain services
Off-chain encrypted messaging and voip between burstid accounts

File storage(disclaimer: still figuring out a good way to do this. this will take a while.)

it's crazy when even this miniscule buy pressure influences the markets so much.  If we had more miners we could make a bigger difference, but alas.
I fixed the problems that had the payout stuck (stupid bittrex requiring the withdraw message - at least the pool didn't lose any coins)
Kinda funny that my ~600 GH/s of SHA mining power puts me at the top of those payouts.
It seems that SHA mining and converting to BUSRT is more lucrative than mining BURST directly...

You know what this is?  Opportunity.  Opportunity for you to expand your mining farm at the best possible price and in a large way!  I will even leave the plots on them so you don't have to waste time re-plotting them! Shocked

Ok. I convinced C-cex to lower confirmations needed for BURST deposits.
Confirmations needed are now 7

Those plans are fine, but I'm talking about third party applications... stuff done by the comunity... Bitcoin is so widely used today not just because of the active development, but because there are a lot of merchants that accept it as a payment method...

currently i am working on payment system for merchant and escrow service that accept burst as a currency, and also figuring out how to integrate it with burst asset exchange and market

as dev plan for file storage, i think its better off start small first, like storing wallet contact into blockchain instead of local wallet
and also we could use burst blockchain like torrent tracker or something, future is bright y know
and also i am thinking about using burst node as CDN service

Pretty sure that the Win plot optimiser has fubar'd my plots again.  Recommend not using.

Anyone who has used the latest cpu plotter can inform of max stagger.

Thanks
