Pretty sure that the Win plot optimiser has fubar'd my plots again. Recommend not using.
Anyone who has used the latest cpu plotter can inform of max stagger.
Thanks
Yep. Big stagger size kill your plots. I've created 20k staggers with wplotgenerator - they are working! K:\HDD_Mine\plots\*****_446200000_1240000_20000 deadline 93177 nonce: 446780222 publickey: ***** targetHeight: 14383 Thanks. What processor are you using. I notice in the OP for this plotgenerator that all listed plotters are against Intel processors. I have AMD. I've an Intel i7 2600; But it should be working with every processor... It's using AVX ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions#CPUs_with_AVX) and/or AVX2 only when available.

As long as the AMD has AVX/AVX2, it should do very well with the optimized cpu plotter. Very impressive that it does gpu plotting speed on certain cpus.

If we had more miners we could make a bigger difference, but alas. I fixed the problems that had the payout stuck (stupid bittrex requiring the withdraw message - at least the pool didn't lose any coins) Kinda funny that my ~600 GH/s of SHA mining power puts me at the top of those payouts. It seems that SHA mining and converting to BUSRT is more lucrative than mining BURST directly... If only we had more miners. The pool is hemmhoraging money in server costs alone, it's not even earning 0.1 BTC per day, I won't run it very long like this.

But we don't have a lot of miners , this is the real problem ....

It's not actually that surprising. The GPU mode is still kind of buggy on my graphic card (an old GeForce 9300M GS), don't know the exact reason yet. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I will try to fix this issue tomorrow. I would never say never, but I am quite skeptical about the nonce computation ever being modified for major speed gains on current GPUs. It requires each thread to crawl over every part of a 256k buffer while computing shabal hashes for all of it, and the cores on top-end GPUs only contain 64kb of memory. I can't see any way to avoid a huge amount memory bandwidth. This is a different problem than for scrypt (where you can trade the memory for extra computation), in that it actually requires access to the memory, or perhaps some fast way to find shabal preimages.

Could someone please point me to the code in the published pool miner which allows the pool owner to submit a reward-assigned block to the local wallet?

Id/nonce/passphrase is submitted the wallet with submitNonce. submitNonce takes 2 or 3 parameters: secretPhrase, nonce, acctountId If solo mining, secretPhrase and nonce are sufficient. If pool mining, the pool's secretPhrase is submitted, and the miner(who is reward assigned to the pool)'s accountIt is sent along. The wallet returns json with 1 or 2 fields: result is a string. if result is "success", deadline is also present The wallet will store work submitted to it, and automatically create a block when one of the deadlines it has reach 0.

I have a couple questions: How do we know what deadline time we have when we find a block solo mining? I guess what I mean is, where can we find details on each block found with the deadline time?

I think if your scoops have been misplaced, it should tell you you've got the wrong passphrase.

Though I won't be holding my breath for it considering the other 'upgrades'. I am using java miner and I get nothing but deadlines of 30,000 years+ after optimising.

If your system can handle it, I would try running two miners in parallel, one with just the plot you ran the optimizer on and one with the just the optimized plot. If there's a problem, you should get different deadlines after both plots have been fully searched.

If your system can handle it, I would try running two miners in parallel, one with just the plot you ran the optimizer on and one with the just the optimized plot. If there's a problem, you should get different deadlines after both plots have been fully searched. I have between 2 and 4 miners running. Reason being every time I try something new with the plots it always has ended with me re-plotting from cpu and retiring a miner for a while. I already stated that I have a problem with deadlines which I concluded from watching the miners and relating the best deadline nonce to the respective file. I'd like to re-iterate here then, if you are wanting to use the latest uploaded Win optimiser, test it on a small file first before optimising your entire drive/plots. Notice where your best deadlines are arriving from. I was getting ~30,000+ years from files that had been 'optimised'. Given enough time, my deadlines were resubmitted shorter and from the unaltered plots. I am currently plotting with the newest CPU plot generator. Only going at 5k nonce/min and even though I gave it 12GB RAM to play with it tells me that it is using 3GB. A non issue for me so long as it creates the plots correctly, as they were originally, though if anyone can enlighten me as to why it has decided 25% of what I allocated is all it wants then that will be much appreciated.
