Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Ive been in professional computer repair for 20 years ,Well almost, opened my first store in 1995 , so I am very savy with computers there is not much I cannot do. I have this same wallet with many different backups dating all the way back to August 1st.

I went to this extreme length:

1. Deleted EVERYTHING relating to supercoin on my computer even wallet.dat file

2. Downloaded 3.11

3. went to a backup dated 8/1/14 and copied just that file into the roaming/supercoin folder

4. Launched 3.11, let it sync from nodes downloaded from the OP (copied and pasted)

5. Let it go all the way through sync today. STILL OUT 27,000 coins!!! HERES WHY:

Now here is the wierd part:  THOSE TRANSACTIONS FROM 9/1 AND 9/2  where I sent thousands to exchanges in an attempt to secure them ARE STILL ON THE BLOCK CHAIN!!!  What happend to rolling back the fork!?!?!?

If my wallet.dat is dated 8/1/14 , and I only have the wallet.dat file in my roaming/supercoin folder, there is ONLY one place those transactions are coming from AND thats the BLOCK CHAIN!!!

If it even matters I did the same thing with version 1.6.1 and same result, because at the end of it, all those transactions that I sent to the exchanges are 100% certain, STILL on the chain!!! When I launched my wallet.dat , I went right to my transactions and they stopped on 8/1/14, so I knew non of my faulty transactions were in the wallet I used dated 8/1/14. Then as it got past 9/1/14 and all my failed transactions showed up.

Did repairwallet from console AND -repairwallet in shortcut after .exe . Nothing.

@Superteam.. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE??!?!? Isnt this what you fixed?!!??!

IF there are ANY doubts these transactions are STILL in the block chain dated 9/1/14 and 9/2/14 look at my previous posts and look in the current block chain, and you will see THEY EXIST!!!

FRUSTRATED  Angry

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Supercointeam,

Nice job dealing with the exchanges and getting everyone back up and running so quick!

I have a feature request.
Can you guys start including the current supercoin.conf in the next build?

The v3.1.1 client will not sync without a supercoin.conf.
The current page 1 post does not tell the user that and provide the file\details until you scroll down a few pages.
Using out of date addnodes in supercoin.conf led to many posts about sync problems recently.

This would make installation easy enough to recommend to more people, and solve sync problems quicker in the future.

For what it is worth, I am very impressed with this Super Dev. Team. This team seems to really know how to work under pressure and create positive results through adverse conditions. My confidence in Super is going ballistic and I am feeling very fortunate to hold my share of SuperCoin.

Again, Good Job Super Team for all your hard work, especially with the past few days. Smiley Smiley

Whats worse that that is I have also lost MASSIVE interest payments from 27,000 coins for the last 4 or 5 days. Superteam has not responded directly to my specific case.

Even after whats happend, im not upset that they made a simple error in code. It was not intentional. I think the superteam, is very honest and loyal. We all know there are LOADS of scam coins. I felt supercoin was a safe place to keep most of my money. I STILL think it is. I have a lot of different coins, but my highest holding was in super. So, that should say something about the trust level I have for them. Im going to be patient , because I just think they have other things right now, and they will eventually get around to me. What I will do, is keep this issue alive on this thread until its resolved. Ill keep it calm, and professional but alive, until its resolved, as long as it takes.

I don't get it, the pos interest is never lost unless redeemed. If because you are on a wrong chain, the pos generated there are gone when you come back to the right chain, none of your coin-day will be lost, as in the new chain your un-redeemed coin-days are still counted until the pos generated. So you should not lose anything in pos.

Awww... I just love it when someone comes along and calls me a liar.. LMFAO... Here you go big boy Wink This screenshot ALONE proves 17k lost, and I have 3 wallets that are a mess. I wont fud super as I like and respect them, I just want my coins back..is that so hard to understand? If you lost 27k of super, would you just "forget about it"?? Pic PROVES 3.11 , all in sync AND showing deductions AFTER the "fork fix". EXACTLY what ive been saying, now THANK YOUR SIR FOR FUELING MY PLIGHT!

Heres my other wallet. Now this one DID confirm.. kind of: I sent over 20k to mintpal, and as I understand the superwallet is still frozen at Mintpal. I have asked for nothing from the superteam on this one because this is between mintpal and I. I have to just wait until they sort things out. Me and you are different. If I knew someone lost 50,000 super, I would feel compassion and empathy. I certainly wouldnt call them a liar. Dont you think Im ALREADY having a SHITTY day?!!? Do you get off on making it worse??! Every Supercoin I have is frozen or lost!! As much as an asshole you are , I still wouldnt wish this on you! Then again, youll never have to worry about losing 50,000  supercoins.

Enjoy my losses heartless prick:

Vegas if I am understanding your problem correctly your large transfers to the exchange ARE showing up on the blockchain correct?  Would it be possible to request from the exchange to do a salvagewallet or repairwallet command on your wallet at the exchange that was suppose to receive the coins in question?  Perhaps you can request your private key for your wallet and you can import the key into your local wallet and perform a repair yourself?  If these transactions are showing up in the blockchain I would think you are not going to be able to recover them at your local wallet.

They ARE on the block chain, because I went back to an old 8/1/14 wallet.dat and deleted everything. I did export my key AND reimport into new wallet.dat and resync ,but it does not matter because those failed transactions keep returning because they are on the block chain. Appreciate your suggestions.

Currently only the Bittrex is 100% functional.

Mintpal and Cryptsy still have their wallets offline, although trade is possible...

Who knows where the cold wind blows, maybe I'm gonna return one day.

My old coins that i have on old blokchain succesfully showed in my new 3.1.1 wallet.

Dont really understend why this is not working for you Sad

Looks like i have my SUPER back and my wallet is staking again Smiley

I did use an old wallet.dat (2 months old) and that one works!

Newer wallet.dat's (back-up's) didn't...

Thanks for the advice and i hope others will get their SUPER back too!

Ps. don't forget to make back-up's frequently  Smiley
