@Vegas

I saw a lot of actions from you including Mintpal (from the pictures)

Aren't most of your coins there?

NOTICE: Deposits and withdrawals are currently disabled for SUPER.

Still not operative. Same @Criptsy.

I see, my friend send some SUPER this morning on Bittrex...So I guess that means trouble?

He should've make sure the deposit was working but it looks like he sends some SUPER on Bittrex and he can't see them, this means they are lost?

Again, no, not lost.

In my case Bittrex is fine but my friend who I mentionned still has not received the 3000 SUPER he send 2 days ago when the wallet was frozen.

Any ideas on what can I tell him, what should he do?

There is not much problem, just tell him to save wallet.dat file and download wallet and blockchain,
and replace blockchain file in roaming supercoin folder, after that it will take 5-10 min.
My wallet synced in 10 min after replacing blockchain file.

I had the same issue as well on of one my PC's.  delete everything except the wallet.Dat file and try 1.6.1 instead of 3.1.1 .  you can can get the blockchain zip from supercointeam if you don't have it already to speed up the sync time.

So, i`ve just tried to send with SuperSend ticked, some supercoin between 2 wallets I got, after I hit send, green S is turning to yellow S for about 1 or 2 min, then it`s turning to green S again, but nothing is sent or recieve, nothing happens.

Though, I`ve tried exactly the same thing with mammoth coin and everything worked smoothly.

Why is that?

Can you post here what is in the .log file about that transaction so the devs can check when they will be online.

open with text editor like PsPad or similar one debug.log file in your appdata/supercoin folder

The problem was solved. The coins arrived to destination, it took a little longer than mamm, but that doesn`t bother me!
Thanks anyway, exemplaar for trying to help me! :*

edit: I was wrong! the coins that arrived are the coins wich i sent without supersend, after i`ve tried and didn`t worked with supersend.
So i`ve tried again to send with supersend, and i got the same result, nothing happens!
I`ve installed pspad and opened the debug.log file, but i don`t know what to copy/paste here so the devs can check. Will you be so kind to tell me please? thx

Ok, type in wallet debug console "getlastanontxinfo" without quotes. Did that returned any event?

Also you should look in .log file for entries like guarantor accepted address and mixer accepted address.

Will have more time to test by myself this tomorrow. Report your findings, tnx.

Hello, I`ve been out of town this weekend and I didn`t had time to look into this.

So, I woke up and tried to send again some coins, with supersend, between my 2 waletts and again, nothing happens.
I typed gatlastanontxinfo after each transaction and got this:

I think the supercoin site is still under development. Have you tried to download the wallet from OP? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736705.0

Please refer to FAQ in OP for solution. His blockchain file seems damaged. Needs to resync from scratch.

This is mac wallet https://mega.co.nz/#!pBY2CYJS!vDzwp7br31XABxBLnvaICCQJXCqB38XEd0dV6nuwGmQ
1.6.1 mac users upgrade now
We need Feedback on this wallet.
Wallet will not load Mac Version 10.9.4 error -Qt: Operation not permitted last wallet at least opened.

Hi awaygotroubles.  I compiled the Mac wallet.  I have tested it on both 10.7 and 10.9.4 and have not had any issues.  Other users have also reported that they are using the new wallet without problems.

It sounds like you might be having some kind of permissions issue.  I would try deleting and redownloading the wallet.  Make sure the app is in a location where you have read and write permissions.  You can also try deleting the contents of your preferences folder other than your conf and wallet.dat files.

The coin still has some serious issues that won't simply go away because you've chosen to ignore them.

Cryptsy wallets are still Offline and coins can't be withdrawn. I haven't tried depositing to Cryptsy, but I've no intentions of doing so until the issues are resolved. Instead, I've dumped my remaining coin on Cryptsy.

I've had several attempts at transferring coins to a second wallet using Supersend without any success. With a minimum of Three nodes available the sending icon turns brown for a while and then nothing. The coins remain in my sending wallet.

I've mentioned Forging issues previously and received no reply. Forging works successfully, but each day the number of transactions doubles and the amount of stake halves for each transaction. The total amount of reward remains steady, but the fragmentation will surely lead to more blockchain issues if it continues indefinitely.

I agree with others who've said that the Supersend feature needs independent verification to assure users that it is indeed Trustless and Anonymous. In the meanwhile it's essential that All Exchanges are functioning correctly if you want Investors to trust this coin.

Yes, this also leads to the wallet being slower, and will make sending large amounts complicated as you'll exceed transaction size limits when gathering small inputs.

Ideally the staking should merge back outputs to keep things under control.

Why was my comment earlier about getting a review of SuperSend Trustless taken down?

Anyways, you are correct. The sooner the developers of SuperCoin fix the wallet issues, the sooner we can get a REAL review of the SuperSend Trustless.

Seriously the only reason why people aren't investing in this coin is because the developer is spewing broken english and just spam posting "SUPERCOIN WORLDS FIRST ANON COIN" which is NOT TRUE.

If you are the developer, stop spamming nonsense it makes people think that you're trying to hide something.

Here is my comment from earlier that was erased by the forum moderator of SUPERCOINTEAM

___________________________________________________________________________

you guys should 1000% (one thousand) make sure SuperCoin SuperSend trustless is working, then get Dan Metcalf from XC to review it.

every other coin that has done this has enjoyed rapid growth so long as their anonymous protocol solution actually delivers.

People just do not know about supercoin seriously.

just secure the wallet release; then get Dan Metcalf to review the code, when he publishes it supercoin will get huge volume.

+1

This. All of this. Dev, I'm a long time Super investor and believer, but what he says above is accurate. Occasionally someone like me is shaken by your actions or lack thereof. I've mentioned the English issues before. Take the above suggestion to heart. please. We all want Super to succeed, but half-assed marketing will never get us there.

I'm running Mac version 10.9.4 and having no troubles with 1.6.1.

I used this link: http://www.super-coin.net/supercoin-qt161.dmg with the supplied zipped blockchain and supercoinconf and fully synched in ~15 minutes.

Have since transferred ~2K SuperCoin from BitTrex and wallet is staking at prodigious rate.
The Mega link did not work for me (indeed most likely a permissions issue) however the above link worked without issue. Thanks for all the support we're up and running!

UPDATE: got my 20k back from Mintpal. STILL out over 20k from "Generated but not accepted". Ive had tried everything many times over, that has been posted about in the last few threads. Ive been polite calm and professional and have posted many times  BEGGING the supercoin team to address my issue. They have never addressed my issues. Users have suggested the regular fixes, download the latest version, delete all in roaming except wallet.dat, go to old backup (done that dated 8/1/14), salvage wallet(done that), (repair wallet done that), import and export keys into new wallet (done that). I heard a phrase once about 20 years ago and it stuck in my head, and it goes like this "BE NICE, UNTIL YOU CANNOT BE NICE ANY LONGER". I have bugun to dump the super I got from Mintpal at stupid prices. Got it down to under 1500 sat , Im gonna pound at it some more today and see if I can get it near 1000 sat. Some nice bargains on Super guys at Bittrex, enjoy. Ive even been buying my own back and selling it lower..LOL. DO YOU HEAR ME NOW SUPERTEAM~!?!??!!?

For those of you that might try to attack me and call me impatient..here is ABSOLUTE PROOF, I have tried and tried to resolve this with superteam: Here are my old posts, and its not even all of them, I went back just a few days:

Can we plz hear from the developers on what will happen to people like me that have done every suggestion on this thread and more, and STILL are out thousands of coins? @Superteam, please tell us bluntly what will happen to us that have been trying for days and days to get our funds back, and have downloaded latest wallet, resycned, gone to backups, salvagewallet, repair wallet, ect ect..

Even after whats happend, im not upset that they made a simple error in code. It was not intentional. I think the superteam, is very honest and loyal. We all know there are LOADS of scam coins. I felt supercoin was a safe place to keep most of my money. I STILL think it is. I have a lot of different coins, but my highest holding was in super. So, that should say something about the trust level I have for them. Im going to be patient , because I just think they have other things right now, and they will eventually get around to me. What I will do, is keep this issue alive on this thread until its resolved. Ill keep it calm, and professional but alive, until its resolved, as long as it takes.

Whats worse that that is I have also lost MASSIVE interest payments from 27,000 coins for the last 4 or 5 days. Superteam has not responded directly to my specific case.

For what it is worth, I am very impressed with this Super Dev. Team. This team seems to really know how to work under pressure and create positive results through adverse conditions. My confidence in Super is going ballistic and I am feeling very fortunate to hold my share of SuperCoin.

Again, Good Job Super Team for all your hard work, especially with the past few days. Smiley Smiley

Thats why I want to recover mine so badly, because it was my favorite coin Sad

Ive been in professional computer repair for 20 years ,Well almost, opened my first store in 1995 , so I am very savy with computers there is not much I cannot do. I have this same wallet with many different backups dating all the way back to August 1st.

I went to this extreme length:

1. Deleted EVERYTHING relating to supercoin on my computer even wallet.dat file

2. Downloaded 3.11

3. went to a backup dated 8/1/14 and copied just that file into the roaming/supercoin folder

4. Launched 3.11, let it sync from nodes downloaded from the OP (copied and pasted)

5. Let it go all the way through sync today. STILL OUT 27,000 coins!!! HERES WHY:

Now here is the wierd part:  THOSE TRANSACTIONS FROM 9/1 AND 9/2  where I sent thousands to exchanges in an attempt to secure them ARE STILL ON THE BLOCK CHAIN!!!  What happend to rolling back the fork!?!?!?

If my wallet.dat is dated 8/1/14 , and I only have the wallet.dat file in my roaming/supercoin folder, there is ONLY one place those transactions are coming from AND thats the BLOCK CHAIN!!!

If it even matters I did the same thing with version 1.6.1 and same result, because at the end of it, all those transactions that I sent to the exchanges are 100% certain, STILL on the chain!!! When I launched my wallet.dat , I went right to my transactions and they stopped on 8/1/14, so I knew non of my faulty transactions were in the wallet I used dated 8/1/14. Then as it got past 9/1/14 and all my failed transactions showed up.

Did repairwallet from console AND -repairwallet in shortcut after .exe . Nothing.

@Superteam.. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE??!?!? Isnt this what you fixed?!!??!

IF there are ANY doubts these transactions are STILL in the block chain dated 9/1/14 and 9/2/14 look at my previous posts and look in the current block chain, and you will see THEY EXIST!!!

Ok so spent most of the day yesterday and tried everything that is listed on this thread and more, many times over and I am still missing loads of coins. When my wallet stopped working I created a new clean empty wallet on another pc with wallet id: STTuPiTeVL7vvs77XCv4CRpbX8aHvTP7Ut and attempted to move funds into it. I beleived my wallet.dat was corrupted. Seemed like it confirmed, so I kept going. Now that I have blown everything out and resynced with v3.11. Ive got a mess. I did repairwallet. Just says "passed true". No change.

@Superteam, can you tell us what will happen to those that have lost most everything even after doing everything?? My wallet syncs fine.
Version 3.11 but ALSO counts funds sent to exchanges on 9/1 and 9/2. Please tell us what will happen to us?

Hey Vegas

I don't know if your familiar with the salvagewallet command but basicly if you open the windows circle or push the windows keyboard icon and in the search bar at the bottom type:
CMD or open a command prompt window

You should see a black DOS window pop up.  Now type:
cd appdata (Enter)
cd roaming (Enter)
cd supercoin (Enter)
supercoin-qt-311 -salvagewallet (Enter)

Your wallet will check the blockchain and it should return those coins to your wallet after your wallet is done checking the blockchain.

Make sure your wallet is closed before doing this as it won't work if the wallet is already open.

Good Luck Smiley

Oh.. Just thought of something... this will only work if your supercoin-qt-311 file is located in your appdata\roaming\supercoin folder...  I tend to keep all of my wallet qt files in my roaming folders.  Otherwise you will need to do the same "supercoin-qt-311 -salvagewallet" command where ever you placed your supercoin-qt file.

Easiest way to do this command if it is not located in your roaming folder is to open a Command Prompt Window (DOS window) and also open a file explorer window where your supercoin-qt file is located and drag and drop the supercoin-qt-311 file into it.  This will give you the actual file location on your hard drive as such:

C:\Users\<your user name>C:\Users\<your user name>\Desktop\Supercoin3\SuperCoin-qt-311.exe

Add -salvagewallet to the end of the line in the DOS window and push enter and again the wallet will check the blockchain and should return the coins back to you.

Thanks, and Im very familar with "salvagewallet" command. Every time Ive ever used it, it simply takes out all transactions that are not confirmed, but never confirms transactions. The few times ive used it, its always comes out negative, and I end up losing all unconfirmed coins. I think Ill wait for superteam to respond. Thanks

My wallet was not working, not syncing, not staking. I had to do SOMETHING!! I did a small test and sent a small amount to another wallet, and it received (probably on the same fork), thats when I felt the best way to secure everything is send to exchanges the next time it synced. I think the funds would have gone missing either way. I just need to wait now for superteam response. And btw, I had NO PLANS on selling, I just wanted to get them out of a faulty wallet and into a more secure place. I dont panic sell.

Not so fast guys.. My results are in. Here is what I did.

Wallet ID #1 : SWQ4m8e54bW8oSbsD7ZZYMopvsmxcN1CA7

1. Downloaded 3.11
2. Deleted ALL files in roaming/supercoin except wallet.dat
3. Created new supercoin.conf with newest addnodes
4. Let sync

Results ... UNCONFIRMED: 20673.61284567 SUPER

These will not come back with time as they are "Generated but not accepted. Ive seen this from time to time, and errors happen, but this is a chunk of my coins.

Wallet #2 , Tried to send everything to Bittrex in a panic in the early stages of problems. Missing lots of coins but if I can get back 2 of the main transactions, Ill forget the rest.

Wallet ID: STTuPiTeVL7vvs77XCv4CRpbX8aHvTP7Ut

These happend on the 9/1 and 9/2 . My wallet was still debited, and I doubt they are on bittrex as they are rolled back too.

Im concerned because I have/had tens of thousands of supercoins. It is my biggest holding. Maybe Im jumping the gun, and a bit "hot under the collar". Im going to resync with new wallet and new nodes and see what it looks like. I still trust the superteam, as they have stepped up to the plate and clearly worked hard to get things right. STILL my favorite coin! Im not upset that superteam made an error. We have all made loads of errors, just dont want to lose thousands of coins because of it.

I can live with stake loss, and I think once the exchanges open again, it will be a GREAT buy time.

Superteam, I apprecaite your dedication and hardwork. I have a question, you say "We go back before the fork time". What exactly does this mean?? What exact date and time is it reset to? If I sent money to an exchange AFTER the fork, what will happen to my funds? Please be detailed for all of us. What about the POS money I made AFTER the fork? I have tens of thousands of supercoins (I hope), that I made hundreds of coins in interest (I think). Do I lose all that stake money??

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

You will hurt not only supercoin team. You also will hurt other supercoin holders, who just like you.

IM STILL open to suggestions that are not already posted.

I've mentioned Forging issues previously and received no reply. Forging works successfully, but each day the number of transactions doubles and the amount of stake halves for each transaction. The total amount of reward remains steady, but the fragmentation will surely lead to more blockchain issues if it continues indefinitely.
Yes, this also leads to the wallet being slower, and will make sending large amounts complicated as you'll exceed transaction size limits when gathering small inputs.

Ideally the staking should merge back outputs to keep things under control.

This can be fixed with a simple update to the qt. For you savvy users you can patch your own qt/daemon

Simply change line 20 of wallet.cpp to whatever you wish

Code:
int64_t nStakeCombineThreshold = 1000 * COIN;

As it is now. I will combine any inputs created by POS transactions less that 1000 coins into larger ones.

Example 1:

You have a 1000 coin input. When it stakes you will get a 1001 coin input back or whatever the reward you get it

Example 2:

If you have a 10000 coin input when it stake it will be broken into 2 inputs of 5001 each. Or whatever the reward is

Example 3:

You have 100 inputs of 10 coins each. When just one of those stake. It will combine with the rest and form a single 1000 coin transaction. But only give the reward for the 10 coins that staked

Working on getting the cryptsy wallet synced and back online. Ill keep you updated
